The front cover section and the back cover section are rotatable relative to each other about the spine section via a hinge part so as to face each other. The pocket body includes a storage part arranged to extend from the front cover section to the back cover section and allowing storage of an item to be stored. A fixed part is provided on an external side of the storage part in a plan view and fixed to the cover body. The pocket body is bendable together with the cover body while the stored item is in the pocket body.

In two embodiments of the package includes first, second and third panels. The first and second panels are connected with one another along a common edge and are pivotable with respect to each other. Similarly, the third panel and the second panel are connected with one another along a common edge. On both embodiments the second and third panels have cutouts therein. The gift card is positioned in the package between the second and third panels thereby exposing a portion of a front surface of the gift card through the cutout in the third panel and exposing a portion of a rear surface of the gift card through the cutout in the second panel. In this way, the package at least partially conceals the gift card while exposing an identification marking thereon.

In one embodiment, a photobook is made by receiving a plurality of images corresponding to a photo-project; storing said plurality of images in a data repository; receiving a print order for a printed photobook corresponding to the photo-project; in response to the print order, printing a photo-strip having one or more of the images; producing a front cover by compressing a compressible cover material to form a channel in the compressible cover material, wherein the channel is of a size and a shape matching the photo-strip; wrapping the compressible cover material with the channel around a cover board to make the front cover; and setting the photo-strip permanently into the channel and flush with the front cover to create the photobook.

The book is formed by a strip of printed material. The strip is folded to form the book and at least one stack of apertures is provided therethrough. The clip includes a base having at least one ear extending therefrom. The ear(s) are bent relative to the base to pass the ear(s) through the aperture(s), and the ear(s) are thereafter secured to the base. An adhesive secures the auxiliary label to the prescription receptacle.

Abstract: The invention describes a portfolio, presentation folder, music folder or the like including one or more mirrors to permit the user to practice playing a musical instrument, singing or delivering other oral presentation while observing the mirror(s). The mirrored portfolio provides a folio with front and back covers attached together by a spine. One or more mirrors are positioned on the insides of the front or back covers in either a removably attached, hingedly attached or fixedly attached manner. In one embodiment, a primary mirror is attached to the inside of the front cover in a fixed position while a secondary mirror, such as a removable, magnetically positionable mirror insert, is positioned on the inside face of the front cover in hinged manner at desired locations to permit it to swing outwardly from the folio to a desired angle. The folio may include pockets, pencil holders, handles, and closures.

Abstract: A system for affixing a printed image onto a book cover, comprising a sleeve having a front surface, a back surface and four edges. The sleeve includes a front layer having a transparent window region surrounded by an opaque mask region and a back layer joined to the front layer along at least two of the edges, wherein the back layer is not joined to the front layer along at least one of the edges thereby providing at least one open edge adapted to receive the printed image. Adhesive strips having peelable coverings are affixed onto the back surface of the sleeve along at least two of the edges. The opaque mask region is adapted to cover the edges of the printed image, and the adhesive strips are adapted to affix the sleeve onto the book cover.

Abstract: A bound document having a plurality of sheets is produced. Image data for a cover image is received and dividing along a sheet-edge curve into first and second image portions. The first image portion is printed on an inner cover sheet so that an alignment location is defined on the inner cover sheet corresponding to the sheet-edge curve. The inner cover sheet and the plurality of sheets are bound together. The second image portion is printed on an outer cover sheet, and is printed borderlessly with respect to a selected edge of the outer cover sheet. After the binding step, the outer cover sheet is affixed to the inner cover sheet so that the selected edge aligns with the alignment location to form the bound document.

Abstract: Binding equipment and false cover forming equipment for hardcover books are disclosed. The false cover forming equipment carries out false covers, by positioning a pair of endpapers in correspondence of lateral binding flaps of a respective backstrip, arranging folds of the endpapers at a pre-assembling distance associated with the thickness of the text block and gluing margins of past-down sheets of the endpapers with binding edges of the backstrip. The binding equipment is feedable, at a cover input “IC”, with the false covers for carrying out book blocks by gluing the backstrips of the false covers with the binding edges of corresponding text blocks and refolding the pairs of endpapers on the respective text blocks. An electronic processing unit is settable for the control of the false cover forming equipment and the binding equipment as a function of the dimensions of the hardcover book to be bound.

Abstract: A process for double-sided printing of a book hardcover, which includes: providing a book hardcover having a spine between front and back covers all integrally formed from a single blank of foldable board material, wherein the front and back covers each have polymer coated inside and outside surfaces; providing inside and outside dye sublimation sheets respectively printed with inside and outside front and back cover images using dye sublimation ink; superposing the inside and outside dye sublimation sheets respectively on the inside and outside surfaces of the front and back covers when the book hardcover is open flat; applying heat and pressure to the superposed inside and outside dye sublimation sheets and inside and outside surfaces of the front and back covers to respectively sublimate the dye sublimation ink of the inside and outside front and back cover images into the polymer coatings on the inside and outside surfaces of the front and back covers to thereby form a double-sided printed book hardcover.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for organizing and displaying photographs and mementos. The system includes a container with an internal storage area for retaining and displaying personal mementos. The container includes a pivotal cover with retaining straps. The retaining straps are adapted to releasably secure a photo book to the cover of the container. In a first configuration, the photo book is secured in a manner that permits user's to open and review the contents of the photo book. In a second configuration, the photo book is secured in a manner that secures the cover of the photo book in a closed configuration.

Abstract: An ultra removable booklet with label for application to media is described. The booklet with label includes an ultra removable adhesive layer, a base layer and a booklet. The booklet with label may also include an adhesive layer and a cover layer. The booklet is positioned over the base layer. The ultra removable adhesive layer is attached to the lower surface of the base layer. The release liner is applied to the ultra removable adhesive layer. A process for forming an ultra removable booklet with label for application to media is also described.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of a system and method for treating a printed flexible book cover prior to book binding. In the embodiments, a liquid (e.g., water or a water-oil solvent mixture) can be applied (e.g., by a liquid applicator, such as a spray nozzle, sponge, brush, etc.) to the spine portion only of the book cover so that it pools on the surface. After a predetermined amount of time, the liquid can be removed (e.g., by a liquid remover, such as a vacuum, blower, heater, etc.). Allowing the spine portion of the book cover to soak in the liquid for this predetermined amount of time ensures that the liquid saturates the spine portion. Saturating the spine portion of the book cover alters the surface structure and, thereby enhances adhesion of an adhesive material (e.g., glue or tape) during a subsequent book binding process even in the presence of fuser oil.

Abstract: An apparatus for producing hard book cases (covers) can make cases including tucked and folded corners. The apparatus can track the progress of the book case throughout the assembly process and can accurately align the unfinished assembly with the tucking and folding devices of the apparatus. Short runs of different sized book cases may be quickly and efficiently manufactured on a single apparatus.
