By clamping the snap-fit points of the easy connector (40) into the snap-fit points (7) that is located on a first cylindrical tube (3) of the tee connector (1), the easy connector (40) may be installed at the first cylindrical tube (3). The resulting combined structure can be easily installed and used, and can have its parts easily switched.

    Abstract: A directional hopper tee has a fluted interior vertical pipe that merges into a horizontal pipe. The vertical pipe has an opening that connects to a hopper to receive bulk material, or product, and a horizontal pipe centered upon the end of the vertical pipe. The horizontal pipe has an inlet that also receives bulk material and pressurized air from ahead of the hopper and an opposite outlet that discharges the bulk material from the hopper tee. The vertical pipe has a flange that abuts the hopper and an opening in the flange that matches the opening of a valve on the hopper itself. At the opening, the vertical pipe begins to turn towards the outlet of the lower pipe with an internal flute. The flute begins immediately at the flange resulting in a vertical pipe with a curved shape towards the outlet and a square shape towards the inlet. The present invention raises the ground clearance of the horizontal pipe by at least an inch resulting in a hopper tee that clears at least 7 inches above the ground.

    Abstract: A mounting assembly uses one hinge and one cam bolt mutually offset upon a two piece collar. A hopper tee has a member usually a vertical pipe and occasionally a horizontal pipe that connects to a hopper flange to receive bulk material. This assembly has two collars that mutually engage and surround a hopper flange. Pins pass through the collar pieces and the hopper flange then secure to tapped holes in the collar pieces to prevent rotation. A collar piece mounts a hook bolt and the other collar piece mounts a hinge in a spaced apart and offset manner. The other collar piece has a pivotal connection to a hinge arm and opposite the hinge arm, the hook bolt engages a cam. Opening the cam unfolds the tee downwardly while the hook bolt remains engaged. This partially open position allows for removal and installation of a valve. In opening and closing the assembly, the hinge arm spaces the flange below a hopper to admit a valve.

The tee baffle has a lowermost end for accommodating the bell end or hub of a length of pipe to facilitate lengthening the tee to the desired dimension. The tee baffle can accommodate various sizes and types of effluent filters having generally cylindrical profiles, and may be provided with inwardly-directed flanges, tabs, or ribs to hold effluent filters in place and prevent an effluent filter from becoming dislodged from the tee baffle.

When the male coupling component is inserted in the female coupling component, a sealing portion of the male coupling component engages the interior sidewall surface such that ambient air is prevented from entering the channel and disrupting optimal vacuum pressure.

Such a hollow plastic product is, for example, used advantageously as a component of an air-intake system or fuel supply system of an automobile. In one example, the hollow main body is a duct, hose or tube extending over a length, and the reinforce member is ring-shaped so that it extends around a circumference of an outer surface of the hollow main body. The reinforce member is manufactured by injection molding and is used as an insert when blow-molding the hollow main body, so that the reinforce member is integrally formed with the main body. The reinforce member has a defined welding surface formed with a first hole, to which one end surface of a connector pipe is thermally welded. Then the hollow main body is formed with a second hole in alignment with the first hole, thereby defining a fluidic communication between the hollow main body and the connector pipe.

The intermediate leg has an intermediate leg end that is adapted to couple with a hose. A securing flange radiates outwardly from the intermediate leg and is adapted to fixedly attach the hose fitting to the top of the tank car.

The bar clamp has a clamp body having an elongated open sided tube having a side opening sized to receive a predetermined elongated bar member therein. A tubular extension extends perpendicular from the open sided tube for attaching to a matching tubular member. A strip of hook and loop material has the hoop portion on one side of the material and the loop portion on the other side of the material and can be adhesively attached to the clamp body such that the strip of hook and loop material can be wrapped over the open side of the open sided tube having an elongated bar member therein and attached to the hook and loop material on the other side thereof. The hook and loop material is adhesively attached to the clamp body and also has an opening therein which is fitted over the clamp body tubular extension.
