Abstract: Disclosed is a method of molding a resin coated bearing. When a molten resin is injected toward a substantially central portion of a disk space of forming dies from a sprue formed on an upper die, the molten resin is filled into a cavity through a film gate after the molten resin is led to the disk space from a pin gate, so that any weld is absent on a resin member, which covers an outer race, thus enabling uniformizing a coating member in resin strength and suppressing generation of crack on the coating member even at the time of high loading. Also, since the film gate formed on a whole peripheral edge of the disk space is formed from a lower die and an upper die, there is an advantage that after working suffices to take out a resin coated bearing from the both dies and to cut a runner in the disk space.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for positioning and assembly of two or more parts wherein at least one of which is of a creep sensitive material. The method and apparatus enable very precise positioning of parts during assembly by holding a rough alignment with free play permitting finer alignment. Creep resistant annular inserts are molded into the part and provided with flow apertures to conduct plastic material into the annular insert bore. A spindle defined the geometry of a centering hole within the bore during molding. The annular inserts are operable as compression limiters to prevent deformation of the creep sensitive material under the action of heat or tightening stresses.

Abstract: The present invention provides a travelway structure for maglev transportation comprises: a travelway girder having a concrete girder plate extending from two sides of the travelway girder; a pre-embedded member pre-embedded in the concrete girder plate; and a detachable member installed on the pre-embedded member via a fastener, wherein the pre-embedded member is machinable, and a position for installing the detachable member on the pre-embedded member is formed by a machining process after the travelway girder experiences deformations which lead to errors. A method for manufacturing a travelway structure for maglev transportation is also provided according to the present invention. Specifically, after a period of time, during which the travelway girder experiences most of the deformations caused by pre-stressed tension and gradual contraction and the like, the travelway girder along with the pre-embedded pieces are moved to the machine tools for machining the functional pre-embedded member.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for total profile machining of a part, such as from a block of thermoplastic polymer. A first side of the part is machined together with an encircling recess. A registration/potting fixture is placed into the encircling recess. The registration/potting fixture is used to evacuate air from the machined side of the part and to pressure pack degassed fluid potting compound against the machined side of the part. The registration/potting fixture is cooled such as with a coolant to solidify the potting material. Then the registration/potting fixture is used to fixture the block in a new orientation for CNC machining another side of the part. Upon removal of the potting material from the part, the total profile machined part is freed for shipment to the customer.
