  • Patent number: 11123886
Abstract: The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking is configured for use with a knife blade. The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking is a non-stick structure. A first instantiation of the knife attachment to prevent food from sticking attaches to the face of the blade with the greatest surface area. An optional second instantiation of the knife attachment to prevent food from sticking attaches to the face of the blade with the second greatest surface area. The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking attaches to the blade such that the knife attachment to prevent food from sticking presents a non-stick surface as the exterior surface of the blade. The knife attachment to prevent food from sticking further comprises a scraping structure. The scraping structure facilitates the movement of an object, such as a foodstuff, along a horizontal surface.

  • Patent number: 10899025
Abstract: A FOOD SLOTTING DEVICE includes a holding unit, an assembly of slicing blades arranged in a perpendicular fashion, and an affixed cover piece, for creating an elongated cross-hatch pattern of perpendicular slots by partially slicing into one or more surface areas on the body of a food product, generally of an elongated nature, such as a hot dog, wiener, frankfurter, sausage or the like through the directional application of force, such as the METHOD of carrying out such partial slicing denotes. Thereafter the partially sliced food product is easily removed from the slicing blades assembly of the FOOD SLOTTING DEVICE prior to cooking, grilling, or further processing. The slots prevent bursting by permitting gases generated by the cooking process to escape, allowing penetration of the heat to the center of the food product providing quicker cooking thereof, thereby providing for a more palatable and pleasant looking food product.

  • Publication number: 20140259683
Abstract: A novel and useful food chopper that includes a cutter having cutting edges arranged to form one or more cells and spring loaded plungers disposed and supported within the cells. The plungers include wipers extending around the circumference of the plungers at or near their bottoms. During a chopping cycle, the plungers are pushed back by the food to be chopped and compress their associated spring. When released, the wipers on each plunger squeegee the inner walls of the cell thereby achieving a cleaning action. Chopped food waste is minimized by careful placement of the wipers on the body of the plungers, placement of the plungers within the cells and by having a substantially flat bottom surface of the plungers which are mostly flush with the cutting edges of the cutter. Use of the wiper permits the food chopper to achieve very efficient chopping with minimal waste and a self-cleaning mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8353108
Abstract: A utensil has first and second arm members of substantially the same size and shape. Each arm member has a head section and a handle section. The head sections are concave or scoop-like in configuration and are connected by a rotatable hinge which permits rotation of the arm members in relation to each other. The head section of the first arm members has elongated openings through which spreadable food can be expelled. The head section of the second arm member is solid. With the first arm member nested within the second arm member, spreadable food is scooped onto the utensil, specifically on the top surface of the first arm member. Rotation of the second arm member around the first arm member such that the second arm member is now nested within the first arm member, causes the food to be expelled from the openings in the first arm member, where the food can be easily spread on bread and or food items.
