With Collection Means For Induced Current Patents (Class 310/107)
  • Patent number: 9362784
Abstract: A pumping set includes an electric motor, which exhibits a stator, a rotor and a can arranged between the stator and rotor, and at least one impeller linked with the rotor, wherein the electric motor has engine electronics designed for electronically commutating the electric motor, and the electric motor and commutation are configured in such a way that, in a state where the rotor chamber inside the can and/or the impeller is not filled with liquid, the rotor is shut down.

  • Publication number: 20100219706
Abstract: A rotational difference is generated between a first and a second rotor and a third rotor, which causes an induced current to flow in a first rotor winding. This causes a torque to act between the first rotor and the third rotor. The rotary magnetic field generated by the induced current flowing through a second rotor winding interacts with a second stator, which in turn generates an induced electromotive force in a second stator winding. The induced electromotive force is applied via a phase adjustment circuit to a first stator winding, which generates a rotary magnetic field and causes a torque to act between the first stator and the third rotor. The rotary magnetic field generated by the second rotor winding and the induced current flowing in the second stator winding causes a torque to act between the second stator and the second rotor.

  • Patent number: 6700265
Abstract: An eddy current retarder having a rotor part of the retarder with symmetry of revolution about the axis of the engine shaft so that it has a peripheral face facing a peripheral face of the stator part, the inductor of the retarder having at least one electromagnetic winding. Thus, the Eddy current retarder maintains a compact structure while at the same time allowing simple and easy control over its magnetic flux by virtue of the presence of electromagnets.
