    Abstract: A magneto generator can be made small in size and light in weight, and improved in power generation efficiency. The magneto generator includes an iron core having an iron core main body and a plurality of teeth (9) radially extending from the iron core main body, and an armature having a first three-phase winding (14) and a second three-phase winding (15) comprising winding portions (18u, 18v, 18w, 19a, 19b and 19c) of individual phases wound around the stator core. The individual first and second three-phase windings (14, 15) have the winding portions (18u, 18v, 18w, 19a, 19b and 19c) constructed by concentratedly winding conductors around the individual teeth (9), respectively, while skipping every predetermined number of teeth (9), and are wound in a state divided into an inner layer side and an outer layer side, respectively.

    Abstract: A brushless, synchronous machine is provided. A brushless, synchronous motor includes a rotor, a stator extending around at least a portion of the rotor and separated from the rotor by an air gap, a first stator winding, a second stator winding, a third stator winding, a drive circuit, a first rotor winding, a second rotor winding, and a diode bridge. The first stator winding, the second stator winding, and the third stator winding are mounted to the stator to generate square waves. The drive circuit is configured to provide a current to the first stator winding, the second stator winding, and the third stator winding, wherein the current includes an alternating current (AC) component and a direct current (DC) component. The first rotor winding is mounted to the rotor to form a plurality of third harmonic coils. The second rotor winding is mounted to the rotor.

    Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for an efficient hub motor. A stator is attached to a shaft. Coils are embedded in the stator in a circular pattern. Two rotors are rotatably coupled to the shaft with the stator between them. Permanent magnets are embedded in each rotor. Each permanent magnet and each core has a similar cross-sectional shape. The permanent magnets are positioned in a circular pattern corresponding to the coils. The permanent magnets are positioned so that when a coil aligns with a permanent magnet a next coil aligns between two magnets. Shorting bars connect exterior edges of the permanent magnets. A sequence control connects each coil so that current flows in a coil in one direction and the sequence control disconnects the coil and reconnects the coil with current flowing in the opposite direction in response to a set of permanent magnets aligning with a coil.

A starting winding includes first, second and third speed-changing coils mounted on the coil mounting parts, a set of first taps provided respectively on two coil terminals of the first speed-changing coil, a set of second taps provided respectively on two coil terminals of the second speed-changing coil, and a set of third taps provided respectively on two coil terminals of the third speed-changing coil. Each of the first, second and third speed-changing coils spans an angular length relative to the axis that is substantially equal to that spanned by the run coil.

    Abstract: An induction and universal (commutator) motor combination which share a common lamination core and are supplied by a single-phase line. The stator and rotor are provided with multiple poles and phase windings. A winding system for at least one rotor phase winding is common to commutator motor as well as induction motor operation. A lap winding is connected to a commutator, said lap winding having a coil span corresponding approximately to a single pole pitch of the commutator motor stator winding and corresponding as well to an uneven integral multiple of the coil span of the multi-pole induction motor stator winding. The invention finds particular application in regard to drives for automatic washing machines.
