    Abstract: A rotary electric machine rotor includes a rotor core having magnet holes formed therein, a permanent magnet inserted in each of the magnet holes, and an end plate arranged at an axial end face of the rotor core and having one or more fixing holes via which the permanent magnet is exposed to the outside in an axial direction. One or more fixing pieces extend from the periphery of the fixing hole. The fixing piece has an inclined part that extends in a direction approaching the center of the permanent magnet when advancing to the outside in the axial direction, and is in contact with the permanent magnet, thereby pressing the permanent magnet in both the axial direction and a lateral direction orthogonal to the axial direction.
