The terminal 53 includes a lock portion 53a positioned on a base end side and a fusion portion 53b positioned on a distal end side. The winding wire 30 includes a binding portion 31 wound around the lock portion 53a and has a one end portion 36 coupled to a molten ball 55 generated at the fusion portion 53b; and a coupling wire portion 33 tightly stretched from a main winding wire portion 34 of the motor disposed in a wound state and continuous to the other end portion of the binding portion 31. The one end portion 36 of the binding portion 31 is in a state where tension pulling the coupling wire portion 33 to the main winding wire portion 34 side does not act.

The invention further relates to a motor comprising the commutator and a method for manufacturing the commutator. As the transition layer contains the material identical to that of the graphite layer and the metal layer, the problem that the graphite layer and the metal layer are cracked during high temperature sintering is resolved. The service life of the commutator is prolonged. The method for manufacturing the commutator reduces chemical contamination and production cost caused by electroplating and brazing used in a traditional technology.

    Abstract: A dc commutator doubly salient reluctance motor is composed of a stator component, a rotor component, a commutator component, a brush component and a motor housing. The commutator does not rotate with a shaft, but the brush rotates with the shaft. The number of commutator segments connected with stator windings is the lease common multiple of the number of stator salient poles and the number of rotor salient poles. The number of brushes is at most equal to the number of the rotor salient poles. The connecting sequence that the commutator segments are connected with the stator windings is contrary to the distributing sequence that the stator windings are arranged on the stator salient poles. The speed-adjusting, braking and reversal of the motor are achieved by shifting the circumferential position that the commutator surrounds the shaft. The output power and the mechanical-electrical efficiency of the motor are changed by the included angles between the brush's front and back edges.
