Abstract: The production costs of electrical machines are to be reduced. To this end, it should be possible to use standard transmitters for different axis heights of the electrical machine. The invention therefore provides a transmitter cover for an electrical machine, having a pot-like hood (11) for mounting on the electrical machine and for covering a transmitter, wherein the hood (11) has a central axis. The transmitter cover also has a mounting ring (10) which engages on the hood (11) in an interlocking manner. As a result, the hood (11) is pressed against the electrical machine in the axial direction when the mounting ring (10) is fixed to the electrical machine. This can prevent fastening screws (13) colliding with other fastening screws on the motor, this possibly being the case when only the hood (11) is used to cover the transmitter.

Abstract: In manufacturing of the stator unit 2 according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of terminal pins are arranged in an axially spaced manner from a plurality of the coils during a twining process of the wires from the coils 232 to the terminal pins 241. Then, after the wire is twined to the terminal pins, the terminal pins connected to the coils are moved along the outer side face of the sleeve housing, functioning to as a guide portion 2201 for the terminal pins. By virtue of the configuration, the terminal pins 241 may be approximated to the coils without applying the tension on wire, and the stator unit may be made thin with preventing the open circuit of the wires.

Abstract: A motor includes a rotor having a permanent magnet fitted thereon, and a stator having an inner peripheral surface spaced a predetermined distance from an outer peripheral surface of the rotor in opposed relation thereto, and the stator is press-fitted in a motor case to be fixed thereto with its outer peripheral surface. A plurality of projecting portions are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the motor case. Recess portions for engagement with the respective projecting portions are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the stator. When the stator is press-fitted into the motor case, the stator is fixed to the motor case with inner bottom surfaces of the recess portions serving as press-fitting surfaces. The projecting portions of the motor case are engaged respectively in the recess portions of the stator, thereby preventing the rotation of the stator relative to the motor case.

Abstract: The housing of an electrical machine should, despite efficient cooling, be provided with a more compact design. To this end, the invention provides that the cooling ducts (2) of a housing (1), which is preferably provided in the form of an aluminum extruded profile, are left open toward the inside. The inner walls of the cooling ducts (2) are then formed by an inserted stator pack (4). This enables the corner areas of the housing to be kept free for assembly and the reduction of material for manufacturing the housing (1). In addition, due to the open cooling air ducts (2), thin wall thicknesses in the profile and thus small motor dimensions while simultaneously having a large cooling duct cross-section can be realized.
