Publication number: 20090127993Abstract: The invention relates to a refrigeration device having a thermally insulating housing delimiting an interior space and a height-adjustable carrier for supporting refrigerated goods within the interior space. The refrigeration device also includes a threaded spindle having a threaded extent having a substantially vertical axis, the threaded spindle being rotatably driven such that its threaded extent rotates about the axis and the threaded spindle being operationally connected with the refrigerated goods carrier such that a rotational movement of the threaded extent of the threaded spindle effects a height adjusting displacement of the refrigerated goods carrier.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 3, 2006Publication date: May 21, 2009Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeraete GmbHInventor: Hans-Kersten Hrubesch

Patent number: 7533948Abstract: An adjustable shelf system for food equipment includes at least two front brackets, each having a base and a support member extending from the base. The support member has an outer edge and a series of vertically spaced notches. The front brackets are mounted such that the notched support surfaces extend substantially toward each other in a direction generally parallel with a vertical plane that intersects both of the front brackets. A shelf is supported by the front brackets, with extensions extending outwardly from the sides of the shelf. The front of the shelf can be lifted, allowing the shelf to be moved laterally to a position in which the back of the shelf is no longer supported by back support surfaces and the extensions are clear of the notches in the front brackets, thereby allowing the shelf to be moved vertically to a different height while being held horizontal.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2005Date of Patent: May 19, 2009Assignee: Manitowoc Foodservice Companies, Inc.Inventors: Jimmy S. Smith, Moe H. Majordy, Bryan T. Alexander

Publication number: 20090121599Abstract: A carrier for refrigerated goods is moved in the cooling chamber of a refrigerating device by means of two telescopic extensions. The carrier for refrigerated goods is held on each telescopic extension via an adapter. A contact surface of the adapter that supports the carrier for refrigerated goods lies above the level of the telescopic extensions.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 30, 2006Publication date: May 14, 2009Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbHInventor: Karl-Friedrich Laible

Publication number: 20090115302Abstract: The invention relates to a refrigerator that includes at least one vertical support that has a vertical guiding groove with a recess and a plurality of vertically staggered steps provided therein, and a horizontal support provided with a peg engaged into the recess of the guiding groove. In the interlocked position of the horizontal support, the peg rests on one of the steps and presses against a first wall of the vertical support from which the steps protrude. A contact surface of the horizontal support presses against a second wall of the vertical support, the second wall being arranged opposite to the first wall. The contact surface and the steps are staggered in the direction of the width of the walls, the steps being located in a lower position in the recess than the contact surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 6, 2006Publication date: May 7, 2009Applicant: BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbHInventors: Thomas Benz, Michael Krapp

Publication number: 20090091230Abstract: A formed glass shelf is provided having a central region with an upper planar surface and a curved perimeter region surrounding the central region, which has an edge. The curved perimeter region is non-coplanar with the central region, and the edge is offset in a range of about 2 mm to 6 mm from the upper planar surface of the central region to contain spills on the shelf. A method is provided for slump-forming the shelf including slump-forming an oversized blank and removing an outermost portion to achieve the finished size.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 15, 2008Publication date: April 9, 2009Applicant: CLARION TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Alan D. Publication number: 20090085453Abstract: A vertically step-adjustable shelf includes a panel of tempered glass and two open frames. A pair of metal shelf brackets can be staked to the frames to provide vertical step-adjustment of the shelf. The vertically step-adjustable shelf can be further simplified by eliminating one of the open frame members and staking the metal shelf brackets to side frame portions of but a single outer/uppermost open frame member. In each of the shelves various components utilized in the assembly thereof, such as stake projections, heads and openings are hidden from view when the shelves are in their horizontal in-use position. Hence, each shelf presents a highly desirable aesthetic appearance, yet is strong and can be manufactured and sold at a reasonable price.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 5, 2008Publication date: April 2, 2009Inventors: Howard Daley, Bob Herrmann, Ole Carl Buesing, Timothy Keith Cassady, Vincent L.
