Printing Member Registration Patents (Class 33/614)
  • Patent number: 4721365
Abstract: An electronic device, includes a first panel on which a plurality of first terminals are disposed at a pitch in parallel with each other, a second panel on which a plurality of second terminals are disposed in parallel with each other and at substantially the same pitch as that for the first terminals, and a pair of dummy electrodes respectively disposed on the first and the second panel. The pair of dummy electrodes have widths which are smaller than the widths of and the spacings between the first and second terminals, respectively, and are disposed in such a manner that they are electrically connected to each other when the first and second terminals are disposed at the right positions in alignment with each other.

  • Patent number: 4700488
Abstract: A substrate to be imprinted with a printed circuit has a pair of locating holes. The substrate is aligned and fixed relative to the drum of a screen printing machine via a pair of aligning and fixing devices each of which has a locating pin receivable in a locating hole. Each of the locating pins is axially divided into two parts which are urged into engagement with one another via a set of springs but can be spread apart against the action of the springs. When the two parts of a pin are in contact with each other, the width or diameter of the pin is substantially smaller than the diameter of the respective locating hole. On the other hand, the width or diameter of each pin in the spread condition equals the diameter of the associated locating hole. The substrate is placed on the aligning and fixing devices while the two parts of each pin engage one another so that the pins can be readily received in the locating holes.

  • Patent number: 4688333
Abstract: An alignment structure provides means to locate a self-inking stamp in a plurality of positions over articles, which vary in size, to make repeated impressions for quantities of the same article, at a desired location. An adjustable nesting bar holds the self-inking stamp in an elevated position across a stationary and an adjustable gauge bar in parallel position to one another, gauging the article on two sides. Adjustable depth gauges mounted on the gauge bars provide gauging on a third side of the article.

  • Patent number: 4670981
Abstract: A method of mounting electronic parts on the predetermined positions of a printed circuit board is disclosed which is capable of simultaneously correcting the misregistration of a plurality of electronic parts by one cycle of operations so as to precisely position and mount the electronic parts on the printed circuit board. In the present invention, the misregistration of individual electronic parts with respect to suction tubes of a suction head in an automatic chip-mounting apparatus is corrected at the time when the suction tubes suck up the electronic parts from the cavities of the jig in which the electronic parts are charged to thereby place each of the suction tubes on the predetermined or exact suction position of the electronic parts or align the center of each of the electronic parts with that of the corresponding suction tube.
