Abstract: A hollow body forming mold includes left and right half molds, a bottom of the left half mold is provided with a left avoidance slot, a bottom of the right half mold is provided with a right avoidance slot, a left bottom slider is disposed in the left avoidance slot, a right bottom slider is disposed in the right avoidance slot, and the left and right bottom sliders constitute a group of sliders. The mold design resolves a difficult problem that a fabrication hole exists during forming of a hollow body with a built-in component by using an existing conventional process. The hollow body forming method has the advantages of a short forming period, the high production efficiency, good combination between a built-in component and an inner wall of an fuel tank, and the high location stability.

Abstract: A kit is provided to measure the depth to which the tip of a probe should be set inside an assembly such as a combustion can. The acquired depth is then transferred to a set of probes for installation. The fixtures and the associated process ensure that the probe will be in a proper position for accurate measurement and to eliminate inconsistencies in measurement due to probe insertion to different depths.
Abstract: The alignment mechanism includes a main body, a clamp which is connected to the main body for clamping the main body to the frame of a jointer and for creating a tension on the rotor of the jointer against rotation of the rotor about its drive axis. The clamping elements also include rotor adjusting elements connected to the main body for applying torque to the rotor to overcome the clamping tension on the rotor. The alignment mechanism also includes a reference member connected to the main body to provide a reference surface for aligning the cutting blades of the rotor to the top dead center position.
Abstract: A positioning device for conveniently and accurately positioning the deformation edges of two deformation tools that includes a support structure, a securing device to secure the gage to one tool, a moveable anvil that is urged against the other tool, and measurement gage that measures the distance between the deformation edges of the tools and compares it to what the distance would be if the edges were a predetermined distance apart.

Abstract: A blade setting tool for wood jointer/planer machines includes a jig member which is attached to the horizontal worktable of the machine and which supports a pair of vertically displaceable knife stops which are positioned in the path of rotation of the knife blades. The underside of a portion of the jig is utilized as a gauging surface for balancing the blades. The blade stops are pulled up and out of the path of blade rotation after a blade is balanced, thus permitting subsequent blades to rotate into place for balancing.
