    Abstract: A multiple filter for a plug connector has at least one capacitor with a signal electrode and a ground electrode connected to the associated signal and ground line, respectively, such that it can be produced using not only discrete components but also using thick-film or thin-film technology, and such that it can also be used in the frequency range above 10 GHz. A block of capacitor columns is provided, which are combined in the block or are provided free-standing on a block base. The block insulating material is formed by the capacitor dielectric with a dielectric constant of 103 to 104. Each capacitor column contains a capacitor which is formed by a signal conductor and a ground conductor. The signal electrode is formed either by the signal conductor itself or by layers connected thereto. The ground electrode is formed on the outer wall of the capacitor column and at least partially covers it.

    Abstract: A novel electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter is designed to attenuate one or more specific frequencies in order to provide electromagnetic compatibility of an electronic device while in the presence of an electromagnetic emitter operating at the same or similar frequencies. The EMI filter of the present invention combines an EMI low pass filter with one or more “notch” EMI filters tuned to the specific frequencies of interest. When combined in this fashion, the notch EMI filter can effectively attenuate the electromagnetic field of a powerful low frequency emitter which is outside the effective attenuation frequency range of the low pass filter, which is itself effective at filtering a broad range of higher frequencies. In a preferred embodiment, the notch EMI filter capacitive element is integrated in a co-planar relationship with a ceramic feedthrough filter capacitor assembly.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a noise removing filter of a magnetron and a noise removing method. In the conventional art, the noise is removed by forming a low band pass filter formed of a choke coil and a through type capacitor. In this case, it is impossible to effectively remove the noises which are outputted at a band width below 100 MHz and at a band width of 500 MHz and 700-800 MHz. In order to overcome the above-described problem, a magnetron noise filter in accordance with the present invention which includes a shield box fixed to one side of the magnetron, a through type capacitor installed at one side of the shield box and a combined choke coil connected to a cathode terminal of the magnetron and a terminal of the capacitor, wherein the combined choke coil comprising a tightly wound portion around a bar having a certain diameter and a loosely wound portion connected with the tightly wound portion.

The shrink fit bond yields a high strength and rigid attachment which can withstand high shock levels. The guides are each actuated by placing a signal carrier against a predetermined portion of the guide and applying manual pressure against the signal carriers to cause the signal carrier to be pressed into a the predetermined positional relationship. Certain embodiments include contact push posts which pierce an insulating layer of a corresponding signal carrier to make electrical contact with the signal carrier. Other embodiments include a cutting element to sever the signal carriers to implement a four-terminal filter.
