  • Patent number: 11928682
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for movement-based signature authentication. One method comprises determining one or more features associated with a user based on one or more two-dimensional images and determining one or more body points associated with the user based on one or more three-dimensional images. A movement pattern of each body point of the user is determined based on the one or more three-dimensional images. The one or more determined features are compared to corresponding one or more stored features associated with the user. If the one or more detected features match the one or more stored features, the one or more determined movement patterns are compared to a unique electronic signature associated with the user. Upon determining that the one or more determined movement patterns match the unique electronic signature, the user is authenticated for electronic transaction.

  • Patent number: 11887246
Abstract: Systems and methods of generating ground truth datasets for producing virtual reality (VR) experiences, for testing simulated sensor configurations, and for training machine-learning algorithms. In one example, a recording device with one or more cameras and one or more inertial measurement units captures images and motion data along a real path through a physical environment. A SLAM application uses the captured data to calculate the trajectory of the recording device. A polynomial interpolation module uses Chebyshev polynomials to generate a continuous time trajectory (CTT) function. The method includes identifying a virtual environment and assembling a simulated sensor configuration, such as a VR headset. Using the CTT function, the method includes generating a ground truth output dataset that represents the simulated sensor configuration in motion along a virtual path through the virtual environment.

  • Patent number: 9697351
Abstract: A technique supplies a high security password. The technique involves receiving, by processing circuitry, a series of randomly generated values from random number generator circuitry. The technique further involves deriving, by the processing circuitry, an initial character string from the series of randomly generated values, each character of the initial character string being an element of a first collection of characters which includes lowercase letters and numbers. The technique further involves providing, by the processing circuitry and as the high security password, a modified character string based on (i) the initial character string and (ii) inclusion of at least one element of a second collection of characters which is mutually exclusive of the first collection of characters.

Abstract: Cards may be provided with locked modes of operation. A card may, for example, monitor a particular sequence of one or more manual inputs while the card transitions from a low-power mode of operation to a locked mode of operation. The card may store the particular sequence of the one or more manual inputs as a locking code. The card may ignore subsequent manual inputs during the locked mode of operation until the locking code is reentered into the card. Once the locking code is reentered into the card, the card may again become reactive to manual inputs received by the card.
