  • Patent number: 10740448
Abstract: A device authenticates a request to user. The device accesses a face image that depicts a face of the person and includes a characteristic noise pattern inserted by a camera of the device. The device also accesses a geolocation which the device captured the face image and puts the face image and the geolocation into an artificial intelligence engine that outputs a face score, device score, and a location score. The device next submits the request with the scores to a server machine and obtains an authentication score from the server machine. The device then presents an indication that the request to verify the person is authentic based on a comparison of the obtained authentication score to a threshold authentication score.

Abstract: A platform provides recommendations for points of interest in a venue to venue attendees. Different points of interest are recommended in different amounts in order to prevent congestion in the venue in the form of extremely long queues or extremely large crowds. To achieve this, the platform divides a large group of venue attendees into multiple sub-groups, with each sub-group being recommended a different point of interest, and the size of each sub-group based on a difference between an optimal queue or crowd size and an actual queue or crowd size of a queue or crowd associated with that point of interest.

Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for providing a visitor controlled access into a building. Initially, entrance identification information is provided to a mobile device of the visitor when the mobile device is in close proximity of an entrance of the building. The mobile device then sends the entrance identification information to a remote server. In response the server sends back a list of residents of the building to the mobile device based on the entrance identification information, and the mobile device presents the list of residents to the visitor. The visitor then selects a resident from the list, and subsequently a link is established between the mobile device and a remote device associated with the selected resident. Finally, access grant information is provided to an access control means adapted to control access of the visitor into the building via the entrance.

  • Patent number: 10445561
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for creating irrefutable binding data for a data file. An input sequence of data elements is derived based on information from the data file. A graphical representation of input regions corresponding to the input sequence of data elements is output on a display, superimposed on captured image data including a visible feature of a user associated with the data file. User input of each data element of the input sequence is captured by tracking the visible feature through the corresponding input regions, and the binding data is created from the captured images as the visible feature is tracked through the input regions.

  • Patent number: 10438141
Abstract: A platform provides recommendations for points of interest in a venue to venue attendees. Different points of interest are recommended in different amounts in order to prevent congestion in the venue in the form of extremely long queues or extremely large crowds. To achieve this, the platform divides a large group of venue attendees into multiple sub-groups, with each sub-group being recommended a different point of interest, and the size of each sub-group based on a difference between an optimal queue or crowd size and an actual queue or crowd size of a queue or crowd associated with that point of interest.

Abstract: A vehicle communication system includes a vehicle-mounted device and a portable device. In the vehicle communication system, a transmission unit transmits a first to third radio signals having intensities weaker in this order, a measurement unit measures an intensity of each of the radio signals, and a determination unit that determines whether an intensity difference between any two of the radio signals among the radio signals measured by the measurement unit is larger than a threshold value. Control of a target mounted on the vehicle is permitted if the intensity difference is larger than the threshold value.

Abstract: A system for tracking position of objects in an industrial environment includes an interrogator, a transponder, and a processor. The interrogator transmits a signal and provides a first reference signal corresponding to the transmitted signal. The transponder provides a response signal. The interrogator receives the response signal and provides a second reference signal corresponding to the response signal. The processor determines a location of either the interrogator or the transponder, relative to the other, based on the two reference signals.

  • Patent number: 10417850
Abstract: A tracking system includes a plurality of detectors attached to structural features throughout a facility to detect a tracking element. A data store is configured to store information associated with the tracking element. The information includes user ID information and user-specific authorization privileges that define a level of facility access available to a user with the tracking element. One or more processors are communicatively coupled to the plurality of detectors and the data store to: receive tracking element data from the plurality of detectors, control access of the user within the facility, in response to the tracking element data received via one or more lock mechanisms, and monitor parameters of the system, based on the data received. The parameters includes a number of successful accesses to locations or supplies in the facility, and a duration of time spent in the locations or with the supplies.

  • Patent number: 10382959
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide approaches for associating a user identity to a wireless signal based on information received at an access point. Specifically, when a first user presents a set of user credentials to a physical access point, his/her profile is accessed to authenticate the first user. A set of wireless signals emanating from one or more wireless devices operated by the first user is also received at the physical access point and associated with the first user. Information about the first user may then be broadcast and accessed by a second user (e.g., via his/her mobile device) in proximity to the first user and in receipt of the set of wireless signals associated with the first user.
