Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a system and method for cryptographically protecting data transferred between spatially distributed computing devices. An intermediary database may be used to facilitate the protected data transfer and/or record the data transfers. A first computing device may transfer, to the intermediary database, encrypted data that may be securely transferred to other computing devices. A second computing device may generate a GUI used to view data available from the intermediary database. Once data is selected by the second device, the second device may transfer a key (or other encryption mechanism) to the first device. The first computing device may encrypt the data using the received key and transmit the encrypted data to the intermediary database. The intermediary database may transmit the encrypted data to the second computing device, and the second computing device may decrypt and use the data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for automating bulk location-based actions in response to disaster events. A system obtains data defining zones related to different geographic locations and configures a set of preferences for each zone. One of the preferences is a command for responding to an event. The system detects a disaster event and determines that a location affected by the event is related to a zone defined at the system. The system obtains sensor data generated by a sensor in the zone that is connected to a monitoring system for the zone. The system generates an alert based on the sensor data and the command and provides the alert to a client device of an entity that manages properties in the zone. The alert provides an assessment of how the disaster event affects items at properties in the zone.

Abstract: A tracking device broadcasts beacon signals that are separated in time by broadcast intervals. The tracking device determines the broadcast intervals based on a behavior model. The behavior model specifies one or more conditions, such as times of day within a 24-hour day, and associates a usage probability with each condition. A higher usage probability causes the tracking device to broadcast beacon signals at shorter broadcast intervals. A mobile device in communication with the tracking device can reconfigure the behavior model, either by modifying portions of the behavior model or by replacing the behavior model with a different behavior model. This allows the behavior model to adapt to different circumstances, such as different usage patterns during weekdays, weekends, and vacations.

Further, the method includes generating, by the electronic device, a correlation between the UWB tag and each of the first object and the second object based on the parameter and dynamically associating, by the electronic device, the UWB tag with one of the first object and the second object based on the correlation between the UWB tag and each of the first object and the second object.
Abstract: A method of controlling a wireless power receiver. The method includes receiving, by a power receiver, power from a wireless power transmitter; receiving, from the wireless power transmitter, a time set value that is set for checking cross connection; in response to receiving the time set value, generating a power variation in the wireless power receiver by converting a load status from a first load status to a second load status; and maintaining the second load status for a time corresponding to the received time set value.
