  • Patent number: 11580840
Abstract: A device, method and system for assigning alerts to sensor analytics engines is provided. A device one or more of generates and receives an alert to perform a search for a target object. The device determines a geographic area in which to perform the search for the target object. The device determines sensors available in the geographic area for use in the search for the target object. The device, in response to the sensors meeting a threshold condition, assigns the alert to a sensor analytics engine to search for the target object using the sensors. The device, in response to the sensors not meeting the threshold condition, provides the alert to one or more communication devices to initiate a human-based search for the target object.

  • Patent number: 11502843
Abstract: This specification discloses devices and methods for a security concept that includes an immobile hardware token (e.g., a “wall token” that is fixed within a wall) which ensures that the more sensitive actions of electronic banking (e.g., money transfers of large sums to foreign bank accounts) can only be done from the account owner's home, but not from a remote place. However, other less sensitive (and lower security risk) actions can still be done from anywhere else. In some embodiments, the hardware token includes sensors to ensure that the token is not moved or tampered with, interfaces to provide distance bounding, and a crypto-processor to provide secure authentication. The distance bounding can be used to determine if the authentication device is in close proximity to the hardware token, which can in turn ensure that the authentication device is within the account owner's home.

  • Patent number: 11394601
Abstract: A method for assessing completion of events in a network environment is provided. The method includes receiving a first event vector, generating a second event vector, machine matching the first event vector to the second event vector, and generating an output that includes a variable indicating whether an event corresponding to the first event vector is complete. If each of a plurality of first nodes of the first event vector matches a corresponding one of a plurality of the second nodes of the second event vector, the variable indicates that the event corresponding to the first event vector is complete. If at least one of the plurality of the first nodes of the first event vector is mismatched with the corresponding one of the plurality of the second nodes of the second event vector, the variable indicates that the event corresponding to the first event vector is incomplete.

  • Patent number: 11395099
Abstract: A student tracking system deploys distributed sensors throughout a school building. The distributed sensors receive identification information broadcast by user devices carried by occupants of the school such as students, teachers and school administrators. The student tracking system tracks the location of the occupants within the building based on which sensors most recently detected the user devices. The system sends the location information for the occupants to tracking devices operated by tracking users such as school administrators, emergency responders and/or parents. The tracking devices also present to the parents image data captured by surveillance cameras depicting the students. Additionally, the distributed sensors detect the presence of unauthorized individuals within the school building by determining whether an individual detected via a proximity or motion detector corresponds to identification information for a registered user device received by the sensors.

  • Patent number: 11341511
Abstract: Implementations relate to systems and methods for generating a user profile based on periodic location fixes. A cellular telephone or other mobile device captures location information via GPS or other capability. A location history can be generated from accumulated location fixes. The location history is then analyzed to detect the user's travel and dwell patterns. That information can be combined with business classification (e.g., SIC, etc.) or Point of Interest (POI) databases to identify a user's likely home, work, or other locations based on dwell-times, time of day, and other parameters. The user's age and gender can potentially be inferred based on types of locations visited, such as school locations. The user profile can be correlated with market segmentation databases to generate a marketing rating, such as a Nielsen or Claritas rating. Advertising, media, or other content can then be tailored to the user's individual location and demographic profiles.
