The wakeup circuit includes at least one radio frequency rectifier configured to output a rising transient voltage in response to existence of a RF signal received at an antenna of the wireless device; and a detector configured to output a wakeup signal when an input voltage level of the detector is higher than a reference voltage signal, wherein a signal output by the detector upon detection of a wakeup signal causes resetting each of the at least one rectifier upon detection of the wakeup signal; and wherein the wakeup circuit is coupled to an antenna interface of the wireless device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically routing notifications based on device statuses are disclosed herein. For instance, a notification may be generated for a user account corresponding to an application that is installed on a plurality of devices. A system identifies a status of each of the plurality of devices and uses the status of each of the plurality of devices to select a particular device to receive the notification. The system then transmits the notification to the selected particular device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for distinguishing third party resources (TPRs) with respect to first party resources (FPRs) are provided. A client system generates and renders a graphical user interface (GUI) comprising one or more graphical objects in a client application. The client system identifies resources corresponding to individual graphical objects. The client system communicates the identified resources to a verification service, and obtains indicators indicating TPRs to be distinguished from FPRs. The first antenna is configured to transmit the digital transmit signal to two or more receivers. A first receiver including a second antenna and a second receiver including a third antenna receive the digital transmit signal from the digital transmitter. The digital transmit signal arrives at the receivers at two different time instances as a first digital signal and a second digital signal. A comparison of the digital signals is performed at the processor. A time difference of arrival of the digital signals is determined at the processor based on the performed comparison. The direction of travel of the digital transmit signal is estimated at the processor. A bearing to the digital transmitter is determined.

Abstract: An embodiment of the invention relates to a method for ground fault detection for low-voltage three-phase AC circuits having a neutral conductor, in which first to fourth analog current signals of the first to third phase conductors and of the neutral conductor of the three-phase AC circuit are ascertained that each contain the level or an equivalent of the level of the current. The analog current signals are time-division multiplexed, subjected to a/d conversion, and a sequence of time-division-multiplexed first to fourth digital current values present in first to fourth successive time frames form first to fourth current signals. Three of the four digital current signals are interpolated to ascertain interpolated current values. The current value of the time frame of the uninterpolated current signal and the interpolated current values for the time frame of the uninterpolated current signal are used for discovering the ground fault.

The database can be searched to track vehicle condition over time and over a plurality of transactions involving the vehicles. The packaging performs a display action in response to a display criteria being met.

Abstract: A method to operate a controller for exchanging information corresponding to a public safety incident is provided. In operation, the controller transmits a request to communication networks to send location information for portable communication devices operating in a region of interest. The controller, based on the location information received from the communication networks for the portable communication devices, selects a subset of portable communication devices. The controller assigns each device in the subset to a trusted group of devices or a non-trusted group of devices based on the respective subscriber profile and operating characteristics of the portable communication devices. The controller then establishes a connection with high priority portable communication devices in the trusted group via a public safety communication network to exchange information corresponding to the incident.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to arranging a pickup between a driverless vehicle and a passenger. For instance, dispatch instructions dispatching the vehicle to a predetermined pickup area in order to pick up the passenger are received by the vehicle which begins maneuvering to the predetermined pickup area. While doing so, the vehicle receives from the passenger's client computing device the device's location. An indication that the passenger is interested in a fly-by pickup is identified. The fly-by pickup allows the passenger to safely enter the vehicle at a location outside of the predetermined pickup area and prior to the one or more processors have maneuvered the vehicle to the predetermined pickup area. The vehicle determines that the fly-by pickup is appropriate based on at least the location of the client computing device and the indication, and based on the determination, maneuvers itself in order to attempt the fly-by pickup.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining a no-mobility status for a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network. The UE may receive an indicator related to mobility of the UE, and determine, from the received indicator, that the UE has a no-mobility status. The UE may transmit an indication of its no-mobility status to the wireless network. The no-mobility status may be used by the network to select a UE to serve as a UE-to-UE relay (UUR).

Abstract: The remote monitoring and control system contains at least a control device, a server device, and a mobile device. The control device periodically collects status/environmental data and delivers these data to the mobile device via the server device. An operator can set up control data on the mobile device. The server device automatically converts the control data set by the operator into appropriate control command by a conversion table corresponding to a specific control device. Therefore, the present invention achieves the goal of using a single mobile device to control multiple devices without mistakenly issuing a false command to a wrong device.

Abstract: Group-based emergency notifications and acknowledgments are managed via a radio controller. A request to transmit an emergency notification with acknowledgment to an identified target group of subscriber devices is received at the radio controller from a requesting device. The radio controller identifies one or more base stations actively serving subscriber devices associated with the identified target group and identifies, for each of the identified one or more base stations, active channels including one or more of a control channel associated with the base station and active voice or data channels associated with the base station. The radio controller causes an emergency notification outbound signaling packet (OSP), requesting individual acknowledgment and identifying the target group of subscriber devices, to be broadcast on the identified active channels at the identified one or more base stations. Acknowledgments are forwarded back to one of the requesting device and a dispatch console.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for controlling a play mode, and a mobile terminal. The method includes: detecting whether a mobile terminal is in a preset status according to an operation of a user on the mobile terminal; if the mobile terminal is in the preset status, acquiring a distance between the user and the mobile terminal; and if the distance between the user and the mobile terminal is smaller than a preset threshold, controlling the mobile terminal to enter an earphone play mode. Trough the present invention, the play mode of the mobile terminal can be effectively and accurately controlled, thereby avoiding unnecessary operations and improving the intelligence of the mobile terminal.

The system, in accordance with the embodiments herein includes a handheld device configured to identify the present location of the user, along with the audiovisual information corresponding to the identified location of the user. The handheld device transmits that location information and the audiovisual information to a centralized server, only in the event that the user performs a predetermined gesture. Subsequently, the centralized server processes the location information and the corresponding audiovisual information, and identifies at least one electronic communication device accessible to at least one of rescue personnel, and subsequently transmits the location information and the audiovisual information, to the identified electronic communication device, preferably along with an SOS message.

Abstract: A system for supplying AC power to a display via a CAT7 or similar low voltage cable comprises a transmitter connected to an AC power outlet and generating DC voltage transmitted by the CAT7 cable to a receiver. The receiver converts the DC voltage to AC voltage and supplies AC power to the display. A limiting circuit limits power transmitted by the CAT7 cable to a predetermined wattage, depending on the feedback from the receiver, which insures safe operation of the system. Power from the display is disconnected if a pre-programmed power consumed by the display is exceeded or falls below a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: The present invention teaches acoustic absolute position encoders and methods for deploying the same. The encoder has a moving member with a mechanical contacting portion, and a stationary member associated with the moving member. Reed elements are mounted on the stationary member such that they are mechanically engaged by the contacting portion of the moving member as the latter moves linearly or rotates. The reed elements generate sound tones in response to transient contact with the contacting portion. A receiver receives the tones and an acoustic processing circuit determines the absolute position of the moving member based on the sound tones.

Abstract: Tampering with doorbells can lead to injury and doorbell theft. Methods and systems can discourage doorbell tampering by emitting an alert when a doorbell detects tampering. In some embodiments, a doorbell includes a system to detect movement of the outer housing of the doorbell. In several embodiments, if a doorbell detects movement of the outer housing while the doorbell detects that it is connected to an external power supply, the doorbell can emit an alert to warn against additional tampering.
