Projected Scale On Object Patents (Class 348/136)
  • Patent number: 11937024
Abstract: A projection system includes a projection device that projects drawings individually onto a plurality of work spots in a work site. The projection device includes a driver that changes an orientation of the projection device. When drawings are individually projected onto a first work spot and a second work spot in a stated sequence, and the second work spot is outside a projection angle that is projectable by the projection device, the driver changes the orientation of the projection device to include the second work spot within the projection angle after work at the first work spot is finished. The first work spot and the second work spot are included in the plurality of work spots.

Image data including an image object representing a physical object in at least one of a plurality of backgrounds is pre-stored in a database. Identification data for the image object and image background data is extracted from the image object and a comparison is made to determine if the identification data matches identification data in the database. In the event no match is found, a temporary data object is created and stored in the database that links the identification data and the image background data. If an identification data match is found, it is determined whether a temporary data object exists in the database. If no temporary data object exists, one is created and stored in the database. If a temporary data object is determined to exist in the database, it is determined whether the temporary data object fulfills a predetermined condition(s).

Abstract: A system, method and portable device are provided in which rolling shutter images containing visible light communication (VLC) transmissions from one or more light sources carrying information data in dark or low surrounding lighting in an indoor or outdoor setting are captured. The captured rolling shutter images are analyzed to determine whether the modulated visible light output from the light devices is a predetermined size within the captured rolling shutter image. When the modulated visible light output is not the predetermined size, adjustments are made to settings of the image sensor to scatter, defocus or overexpose the image to cause the modulated visible light output in a new captured rolling shutter image to be at least the predetermined size. The modulated visible light output of the predetermined size or larger is decoded to provide information data for a communication application.

Abstract: A measuring apparatus includes an optical system including a wavelength dividing element that divides light from an object simultaneously illuminated by first and second illumination units into a light component of a first wavelength and a light component of a second wavelength. A first imaging element receives a pattern light of the first wavelength reflected by the object, which is light transmitted through the wavelength dividing element but never reflected by the wavelength dividing element, thereby obtaining a first image representing a three-dimensional shape of the object. A second imaging element receives the light of the second wavelength reflected by the object, which is light reflected by the wavelength dividing element, thereby obtaining a second image representing an edge of the object.
