Abstract: Validation of asset movement can begin with the definition of a virtual tripwire for video cameras of a video surveillance system that monitor a defined area of interest through which RFID-identified assets are conveyed. The virtual tripwire can visually define a boundary within the view field of the video camera. The video camera can detect the movement of an asset through a virtual tripwire and an asset management system can be notified of the potential misdirection of the asset. The asset management system can obtain the asset's RFID data from a RFID handling system that monitors the area of interest. The validity of the detected movement can be determined using RFID data and an asset movement specification that defines pathing rules for assets and virtual tripwires. When the movement of the asset is determined to be invalid, a record of suspect movement data can be generated for the asset.

  • Patent number: 10354359
Abstract: A video processor is responsive to an output of a pair of cameras that are used for determining a viewer viewing direction of a display screen. As long as the viewer's viewing angular direction is directed toward a center region of a display screen, the pan function is disabled. When the viewer's viewing angle crosses a first threshold angular direction away from the screen center, dynamically tracking pan function is enabled so as to shift the displayed picture. When the viewer's viewing angle crosses an even larger, second threshold angular direction, the picture will shift in the same direction but at a faster rate. When the viewer's viewing angular direction decreases in a manner to cross a threshold angular direction that is smaller than the first threshold angular direction further picture shift is suspended. Thereby, a hysteresis feature is incorporated.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a distributed video panoramic display system. The present disclosure collects video images of different areas through an existing camera network; the video images collected by each camera are converted into the same coordinate system by each video splitting node in a video splitting module; a plurality of paths of video image data are subjected to parallel splitting processing, so that a display area of each split video image block in a panoramic display unit respectively corresponds to a separate display screen; and each video reorganization node in a video reorganization module is used to perform reorganization processing on each received video image block, then each path of video image formed after the processing is output to the corresponding display screen of the panoramic display unit, and a panoramic video image is formed.

The method further comprises determining a Motion Vector (MV) for each ROI in a set of successive frames and comparing value of the determined MV with pre-stored values. Furthermore, the method comprises identifying a MV matching a pre-stored value thereby identifying a ROI and a frame corresponding to the identified MV, wherein the pre-stored value indicates onset of an expression. Also, the method comprises determining MVs for the identified ROI in subsequent sets of successive frames and comparing value of the determined MVs with a pre-stored value of MV corresponding to peak and offset of the indicated expression. The method further comprises identifying the frame corresponding to the peak and offset of the indicated expression and generating pictorial representation for predicting neurological disorders.

  • Patent number: 10242272
Abstract: A sequence of images obtained by a camera mounted on a vehicle is processed in order to generate Optical Flow data including a list of Motion Vectors being associated with respective features in the sequence of images. The Optical Flow data is analyzed to calculate a Vanishing Point by calculating the mean point of all intersections of straight lines passing through motion vectors lying in a road. An Horizontal Filter subset is determined taking into account the Vanishing Point and a Bound Box list from a previous frame in order to filter from the Optical Flow the horizontal motion vectors. The subset of Optical Flow is clustered to generate the Bound Box list retrieving the moving objects in a scene. The Bound Box list is sent to an Alert Generation device and an output video shows the input scene where the detected moving objects are surrounded by a Bounding Box.
