Abstract: A multiposition lens piece removably attached to an absorbent headband wherein a spring member exerts a rotation-resisting force against the connecting member between lenses to prevent unwanted rotation of the lenses during use.
Abstract: Sunglasses incorporated with a cap visor or a band, and provided with an adjuster to regulate the sunglasses' upper and downward movements at different angles.
Abstract: The invention provides for a pair of spectacles, a visor, a peak or the like item of eye protection or enhancement to be releasably attached to a head band, hat, cap or other form of headgear, the item being provided with three members including VELCRO or the like to match with the other half of the attachment means, if required, for the releasable attachment.
Abstract: A golf instructional aid mounted upon the golfer's head to teach and encourage head immobility during swinging of the golf club and to aid in alignment of the club swing and movement with respect to the desired direction of ball travel. A cap mounted support includes a ball and socket mount and a pair of parallel spaced reference elements which each include a reference mark permitting a golf ball to be visually "bracketed" between the reference elements wherein head movement is readily detected and the position of the head with respect to the ball is visibly discernible.
Abstract: An eyeglass holding apparatus is provided which enables a person to utilize eyeglasses without having the eyeglasses contact the nose or ears. The apparatus is comprised of a mounting band adapted to engage a hat or cap, holding arms, and telescopically adjustable components which facilitate easy assembly of the apparatus from mass-produced parts and adjustment to the needs and comfort of the wearer. The apparatus is preferably fabricated at least in part of moldable thermoplastic resin.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a support structure for a spectacles frame and a front intended to be adapted thereto. The support structure comprises a locking arm or shutter movable in rotation between an open position where it allows to penetrate the projecting element of the front in an interacting hollow housing and a locking position where it is folded back in order to block this projecting element. Application to the realization of spectacles frames having detachable fronts.

Abstract: A headband with detachable lenses wherein the lenses are movable laterally to accommodate an individual's inter-pupillary distance and also angularly to accommodate the individual's forehead angle.
Abstract: A spectacle frame has an eyeglass frame adapted to hold an eyeglass connected to and supported by a clamp having a pair of relatively pivotal members positioned to engage eyebrow hair between them. The clamp can have a pair of stabilizers which can be braced against the head of the user above and below the eyebrow portions gripped in the clamp.

Abstract: An eyeglasses apparatus for attachment to a cap visor; the apparatus comprises two main parts, including a clip part which is selectively removably attachable to a cap visor and a main eyeglasses part which is hingedly engageable with a member of the clip part. The main eyeglasses part is integrally molded in a unitary construction, and preferably comprises either sunglasses or safety glasses. When the apparatus is attached to a cap visor, the main eyeglasses part can be readily pivotably moved between an operative position wherein the user's eyes are shielded and an inoperative position wherein the main eyeglasses part is disposed adjacent the underside of the cap visor.
Abstract: An improved frame for eyeglasses includes a pair of interconnected rims, each of which is configured to surround and support an eyeglass lens and at least one clasp resiliently secured to the rim and superimposed over at least about 1/3 of the outer surface of one of the rims. The clasp is configured and dimensioned to correspond to the configuration and width of the portion of the outer surface of the rim over which it is superimposed. The clasp is also generally spaced above this portion of the rim outer surface to permit a portion of a user's garment to be inserted between the clasp and the rim. The clasp serves to releasably secure the eyeglass frame to a user's garment inserted between the rim and the clasp.
Abstract: Surgical headgear, cap or other head covering having a strip of shape-retaining pliable material attached thereto and re-positionable for use to retain a pair of eyeglasses in position on the face of a wearer; and a perspiration absorptive element carried initially on the outside of the headgear and re-positionable on the interior of the headgear.
Abstract: The invention relates to a support adapted to receive, in movable manner, a glasses frame portion and comprising for this purpose assembly means of the push-button type. According to the invention, these assembly means are integral with the support in question (which is a horizontal bar in the embodiment shown by way of example), being moulded in one piece therewith; they comprise a support plate drilled with a hole and a hinged retaining tab provided with a projecting lug which fits the hole. Application particularly to glasses for use in sports, worn under a helmet.

Abstract: An eyeglass support and a hat to be sold separately from but to be used in combination with a pair of glasses; the hat includes a forwardly projecting bill portion and a head encircling band having a front zone and a pair of side band zones; on the outside surface of the side zones of the hat headband, supports are provided to receive and support the temples of a pair of glasses; and, additionally, a clip is provided on the front zone of the hat headband to clip releasably about the nose piece of a pair of glasses; the glasses are thus adapted to be displayed and carried on the hat above the bill with the temples supported by the side zones of the hat and the nose piece supported by the clip.
Abstract: Eyeglasses comprising a headband adapted to encircle the head of a wearer, an eyeglass frame, and a pivot support removably mounted on the headband and supporting the eyeglass frame for incremental movements to positions into and out of the line of sight of the wearer.

Abstract: Means for holding prescription eyeglasses with the ear pieces removed in a conventional scuba mask in which the scuba mask comprises hood or body portion and a transparent wall surface at the front thereof. The means comprising a member which has a bottom portion and spaced side portions with the spaced side portions each terminating in a hooking end.
Abstract: An eyeglass support device is disclosed in which a pair of frictionally restraining clamps support lower peripheral regions of the eyeglasses while keeping the bridge of the eyeglasses substantially free from the wearer's nose to avoid pressure following surgery or injury. The substantial eyeglass weight depending from the wearer's ear-temple junctures is transmitted to the wearer's cheekbones, shifting the eyeglasses outwardly from the nose without materially affecting the optical axis. In one example, a cheek pad coupled T-bar stem threaded in the clamp portion adjusts the distance between the eyeglass periphery and the cheek surface; a cheek pad pivotably coupled to the stem is further adjustable to conform to the wearer's cheek. In another example, the device comprises a swivelable ball joint coupling the clamp to the cheek pad.
