Abstract: In general, one aspect disclosed features a scleral contact lens for an eye of a patient, the scleral contact lens comprising: an anterior surface; and a posterior surface, the posterior surface comprising: a central optic zone defined by a base curve according to an apical radius of the cornea of the eye; a peripheral corneal zone peripheral to the central optic zone, a clearance control zone peripheral to the optic zone, and a scleral landing zone peripheral to the clearance control zone, the scleral landing zone having a single surface shape.

Abstract: A powered contact lens is configured to receive rendered images and provide the rendered images to a user on a display screen built into it. The powered contact lens is also configured so that the position of the wearer's eyes can be precisely tracked and the images can be rendered at a likely resting position. A power source located on the contact lens powers the display screen and the communication module. The communication module receives the rendered images from a disparate image rendering device. An image system comprises the image rendering device, a pair of powered contact lenses which are configured to received and provide the rendered images to a user.
Abstract: This invention provides a contact lens for myopia control comprising: an object-side surface comprising a central zone, a transition zone and a peripheral zone which are concentric and have different refractive power, at least one of the three zones being aspheric; and an image-side surface; wherein the central zone provides correction power to focus a foveal image on the retina, the peripheral zone provides a myopic defocus effect by generating a para-fovea image in front of the retina, and the transition zone with one or more focuses provides a refractive power in diopter (D) ranging from +0.25 D to +8.00 D.
