  • Patent number: 11930436
Abstract: An emergency call data relay includes a frame buffer and a frame handler. The frame buffer stores data frames received from a central system (e.g., a central CPE host). The data frames include call data associated with an emergency call being handled at a remote system (e.g., a PSAP) connected to the central system. The frame handler receives a data frame from the frame buffer, identifies a remote system handling the emergency call associated with the call data based on a network address in the data frame, extracts the call data from the data frame, and generates an output packet for a data gateway. The output packet has a header indicating a particular data gateway profile associated with the identified remote system handling the emergency call.

  • Patent number: 11711293
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein for routing in-bound communications to an infrastructure service. In an implementation, an infrastructure service receives a request from an end point for content associated with an origin. The service sends a connection request to the origin from an initial network address. After detecting a failure of the origin to respond to the connection request, the service sends multiple connection requests to the origin from different network addresses. Upon receiving one or more replies to the connection requests, the service identifies which reply was received first and a network address to which the reply was sent. The service proceeds to establish a connection with the origin using the identified network address and obtains the content from the origin over the connection. The infrastructure service may then send the content to the end point.

  • Patent number: 11463276
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods providing a multi-dimensional ring-lattice network topology. Systems and methods disclosed herein provide for constructing network topologies in a form of a partial mesh (a partially connected network), where a bridge is capable of forwarding packets through other bridges when a direct link to the destination compute device is not available. A temporary on-demand tunnel is created by virtual networking software on-demand, to facilitate a direct tunnel between two virtual network interfaces where such a direct connection is not available with a permanent tunnel, and where there is sufficient traffic demand between these two interfaces that justifies a direct tunnel. The described approach provides a framework for achieving a compromise between link count limitation, and packet-forwarding path length, that can be tailored to address particular network requirements, together with a way to reliably predict the performance of the resulting network.

Abstract: Techniques for amortizing metadata updates due to data delete operations in data storage systems that implement log structured storage of data from virtual volumes. The techniques employ a segment database (DB) and a deleted chunk DB. The segment DB is implemented as a key-value store. The deleted chunk DB is likewise implemented as a key-value store, but configured as a log structured merge (LSM) tree. By configuring the deleted chunk DB as an LSM-tree, more efficient use of memory and improved reduction of metadata updates can be achieved. Stored segments of log structured data can also be effectively “cleaned” in a background process that involves ordered traversals of the segment DB and the deleted chunk DB, allowing for more efficient recovery of storage space consumed by the deleted data chunks.

Abstract: A single-wire peer-to-peer (P2P) bus apparatus is provided. The single-wire P2P bus apparatus includes a first peer device and a second peer device(s) coupled to a single-wire bus that correspond to a first bus access priority and a second bus access priority(s), respectively. Any of the first peer device and the second peer device(s) can contend for access to the single-wire bus by asserting a bus contention indication(s) when the single-wire bus is in a defined bus state. A winner for the single-wire bus may be a peer device having a highest bus access priority among those peer devices asserting the bus contention indication(s). In this regard, any peer device on the single-wire bus can have a chance to initiate communications over the single-wire bus, thus making it possible for the single-wire bus to function based on bidirectional P2P bus architecture capable of supporting more application and/or deployment scenarios.

Abstract: The application provides a data writing/reading method. A switching device receives a key-value packet from a server, acquires a partition number, queries a partition view to obtain a storage disk address corresponding to the partition number, and converts the key-value packet into a storage disk packet by changing a destination address of the key-value packet to the storage disk address. The switching device sends the storage disk packet to a storage disk corresponding to the storage disk address.

Abstract: A method of translating network addresses includes defining a service address including a first IP address for a server. The server actually uses a service address including a second IP address. A packet originating from a client is received, the target address of the packet being the first IP address. The destination address of the packet is changed from the first IP address to a third IP address. The destination address of the packet is then changed from the third IP address to the second IP address. The first packet is then sent to the server. The present disclosure also provides a system for implementing the method of translating network address. The security of data transmission is improved while resolving IP network segment conflicts.
