Combining Or Distributing Information Via Frequency Channels Patents (Class 370/480)
  • Patent number: 11950237
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that an uplink control information (UCI) payload satisfies a threshold size condition. The UE may map the UCI payload to an uplink control sequence. The UE may transmit a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) that include the uplink control sequence to a base station. The uplink control sequence may be representative of the UCI payload. The base station may receive the PUCCH that includes the uplink control sequence from the UE. The base station may also determine the UCI payload by associating the uplink control sequence with a corresponding sequence index of the one or more sets of uplink control sequences.

Abstract: A transmitter transmits a first signal via a first cable at a first baud rate. A receiver receives a second signal via the first cable concurrently with transmitting the first signal via the first cable. The second signal is transmitted by another device at a second baud. rate that is lower than both i) the first baud rate and ii) a third baud rate at which a third signal is being transmitted in a second cable that causes crosstalk in the second signal being received via the first cable. Reception of the second signal at the second baud rate that is lower than the third baud rate facilitates mitigation of the crosstalk in the second signal caused by transmission of the third signal in the second cable at the third baud rate.

Abstract: A base station may generate and transmit a transport stream including a sequence of frames. A frame may include a plurality of partitions, where each partition includes a corresponding set of OFDM symbols. For each partition, the OFDM symbols in that partition may have a corresponding cyclic prefix size and a corresponding FFT size, allowing different partitions to be targeted for different collections of user devices, e.g., user devices having different expected values of maximum delay spread and/or different ranges of mobility. The base station may also dynamically re-configure the sample rate of each frame, allowing further resolution in control of subcarrier spacing. By allowing the cyclic prefixes of different OFDM symbols to have different lengths, it is feasible to construct a frame that confirms to a set payload duration and has arbitrary values of cyclic prefix size per partition and FFT size per partition. The partitions may be multiplexed in time and/or frequency.
