  • Patent number: 9596017
Abstract: A method in a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) transmitter includes selecting a transmission mode from a group of modes including a spatial multiplexing mode and a transmit diversity mode. A rate matching parameter is set depending on at least the selected transmission mode. Data for transmission is formatted in one or more transport blocks, each transport block including multiple code blocks having respective lengths, in symbols, that are respective integer multiples of the rate matching parameter. The code blocks of a given transport block are mapped onto time-frequency resource elements in accordance with the selected transmission mode, such that each resource element contains data originating from only a respective one of the code blocks of the given transport block. The code blocks of the given transport block are transmitted over the time-frequency resource elements to a receiver.

Abstract: Provided is a transmitter which improves the flexibility of SRS resource allocation without increasing the amount of signaling for notifying the cyclic shift amount. In the transmitter, with regard to each basic shift amount candidate group having a basic shift amount from 0 to N?1, a transmission control unit (206) specifies the actual shift amount imparted to a cyclic shift sequence used in scrambling a reference signal transmitted from each antenna port, said specification being performed based on a table in which cyclic shift amount candidates correspond to each antenna port, and based on setting information transmitted from a base station (100). With regard to basic shift amount candidates for shift amount X, the table differentiates between an offset pattern comprising offset values for cyclic shift amount candidates corresponding to each antenna port and an offset pattern corresponding to basic shift amount candidates of X+N/2.

Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a method in a transceiver (400) for enabling control of interference cancelling in the transceiver (400). The transceiver (400) is in a first decoding mode. The transceiver (400) stores a received signal comprising a data block. The transceiver (400) decodes the received signal using the first decoding mode, thereby obtaining the data block. When an event is triggered, the transceiver (400) retrieves the stored signal. The transceiver (400) decodes the retrieved signal using a second decoding mode, thereby obtaining the data block. The transceiver (400) controls the interference cancelling in the transceiver (400), based on the data block decoded using the first decoding mode and the data block decoded using the second decoding mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a modulation circuit and a method for suppressing energy content of spectral side lobes caused by high-frequency content present in a baseband signal, with the energy content of the spectral side lobes being outside an intended operational bandwidth in a modulated radio-frequency signal. An example circuit is configured to: receive a digital baseband signal, feed the digital baseband signal to a first and a second signal path, with the first signal path comprising a first mixer and the second signal path comprising a delay circuit and a second mixer. The first mixer and the second mixer may receive a same local oscillator signal, and may respectively provide a first radio-frequency signal and a second radio-frequency signal that are delayed with respect to each other. The example circuit is further configured to generate an output radio-frequency signal by combining the first and second radio-frequency signals.
