Abstract: Provided is a robot including a main body provided with a traveling wheel, a seat disposed above the main body, a foot supporter protruding forward from the main body, a lower plate disposed below the foot supporter, and a moving mechanism disposed between the lower plate and the foot supporter, the moving mechanism allowing the foot supporter to move forward and backward between a first position and a second position that is disposed in front of the first position.

Abstract: A shelter system having a stationary section configured to be positioned below grade and having a plurality of perimeter walls forming a stationary frame. A plurality telescoping sections are nested within the stationary section. A roof panel is attached to a top telescoping section of the plurality telescoping sections. A lift system is configured to provide a vertical force to the top telescoping section such that the plurality of telescoping sections are selectively positionable between an idle configuration below grade and a raised configuration above grade.

Abstract: An interactive smart toilet training device is provided in the form of a potty-training chair that resembles/mocks the traditional toilet in miniature form and has special/smart features to assist with potty training. The smart features enable the device to maintain the functionality of a standard toilet while attracting and engaging with the child and identifying, recording, and tracking metrics/history associated with the child's use of the device. Multiple interactive features include smart software applications, songs, and phrases to gain the toddler's attention, and a transparent lighted seat that lights on command, when in use, and/or when there was a successful sit/use. Tracking metrics/history to identify the frequency and conditions of successful sits/uses enable a more timely, accurate, and efficient means for successful completion of toilet training.

Two groups of clamping ladders are disposed on side surfaces of the base, and each group of clamping ladders corresponds to one liftable clamping member. The clamping ladder is provided with a plurality of clamping slots which are arranged at intervals from top to bottom, and the liftable clamping member is engaged with the clamping slot. The buttons are used to drive the rising and lowering of the corresponding liftable clamping members.

Abstract: A composting toilet assembly and installation are disclosed. The composting toilet assembly includes a separating means housed in a pedestal toilet seat. Liquid and solid waste entering the toilet assembly are separated by the separating means which includes a sloping conveyor belt, actuated by control means, which serves to separate the liquid waste from the solid waste by means of gravity. The liquid waste is diverted to a bottom end of the sloping conveyor belt and the solid waste is diverted to an opposing top end of the sloping conveyor belt. A receptacle is attachable at the bottom end of the sloping conveyor belt for collecting the diverted liquid waste for disposal. The solid waste is diverted to the top end of the sloping conveyor belt and through a rear opening of the housing where the solid waste is disposed away from the toilet assembly. The solid waste can be disposed into a composting space located adjacent to the toilet assembly and/or below the toilet assembly.

Abstract: A portable sewage collection system comprising a cubicle with a flushing toilet and a sewage processing system. The sewage processing system is arranged to extract liquid effluent with low turbidity, wherein a portion of the liquid effluent is recycled and used as the flush liquid for the flushing toilet. The sewage collection system being powered by compressed air and being particularly suitable for use in remote locations such as underground mines. The cubicle includes a light that can be activated by a switch to provide light within the cubicle and the cubicle also including a deodorising spray to spray a deodorant into the cubicle to provide a pleasant smell.

Abstract: The invention described herein includes a latrine pan and collector system for use in an offset pit latrine. The system permits use of a latrine pan having a flapper in an offset leach pit context, and eliminated the necessity of large scale installation of a concrete collection box, which can collect unsanitary debris. The system of the invention includes (1) a pour-flush latrine pan and (2) a collector.

Abstract: A foldable, lightweight, expandable, discreet, disposable receptacle, capable of collecting excreta without spilling, and containing it in a secure and sanitary fashion until disposal. An embodiment of the present invention allows a person to quickly urinate when there are no restrooms nearby, or to avoid contacting unsanitary surfaces in public restrooms. The slim, form-fitting and contoured design allows the user to stand upright while urinating, thereby preventing contact with unsanitary surfaces, while ensuring containment of bodily fluids being discharged. An embodiment of the present invention allows for modest undressing and prevents all persons involved from touching any surface other than the floor on which they stand. The lightweight, pliable construction allows for easy storage and one-handed manipulation and employment, facilitating control when used with a child and avoidance of contact with unclean surfaces or items.

The collection basin has an upper bowl portion that tapers to an outlet extending through a wall of the collection basin at its lower end. The flapper includes a counterbalance device and a coverplate disposed on opposite sides of a pivot. The coverplate has a shape adapted to cover the outlet of the collection basin when the coverplate is engaged against the lower end of the collection basin. The flapper is pivotally mounted against the collection basin such that the coverplate engages against the lower end of the collection basin when a pivotal force attributable to the counterbalance device is greater than a pivotal force applied to the coverplate that engages the lower end of the collection basin.

The rest of the components are sealed to keep vermin outside and odors inside, with the exception of a gas vent hose with a screened opening. Biological disinfection is achieved with phage focused on human pathogens. Thermal disinfection of human pathogens is achieved by insulating the fece receptacle and containing metabolic heat. The air in the toilet is ozonated by electrical discharges from a hand operated device.

A fan forcing air from an exterior of the inflatable toilet shelter to the pressurizable interior operatively inflates the inflatable cover. The inflatable toilet shelter can also have a swivel attached to the bottom for allowing the toilet to be vertically pivoted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a container for the collection of urine over a period of 24 hours, the inner volume of which is defined by a bottom wall, a perimetral wall and a top wall. The container comprises at least a first access mouth made on the top wall or perimetral wall, and means for drawing off the urine collected in the container. These means comprise a cup body inserted inside the container to close the first access mouth. The cup body delimits a chamber for housing a vacuum vial. On the bottom of the cup body there is an aperture which places the chamber in communication with the inner volume. These drawing means further comprise means for fluidically coupling the aperture to the vacuum vial, and a tube for sucking the urine. This tube is fluidically coupled to the aperture and extending from the bottom of the cup body as far as the bottom wall of the container.

The assembly may be installed on or below a rim of a toilet bowl. Solidification and pathogen killing materials are provided. The materials are deposited in the reservoir either prior to or upon accumulation of waste in the reservoir. The reservoir with the solidified waste is then sealed and transported to a collection facility.

Abstract: The invention provides an inflatable receptacle which may easily be brought along, and which in the inflated state may serve as a stable seat with comfortable seat height for a person. This is achieved by an inflatable receptacle which is peculiar in that the inner membrane side and the outer membrane side are interconnected by at least one membrane joint, preferably by welding the two membrane sides at the centre part of the receptacle, where the at least one membrane joint extends partially or entirely between the lower and upper ends of the receptacle. Disclosed is an apparatus which includes a locking closing member handle to allow for safe transport and disposal of medical waste. Closing member design includes a gap between closing member and housing which facilitates device cleaning after waste disposal.

Abstract: The present invention is a portable pedestal pan—a specially designed structure that is used in places without interior bathrooms or where going to the bathroom is inconvenient (such as outdoors, in hospital wards, and in the vehicle) and that is easily portable. The present invention comprises a top board, a vertically retractable supporting mechanism that is set under the top board, wherein the supporting mechanism is equipped with a caging device for locking upon retraction. The supporting mechanism optionally has a bottom board 14 that is set underneath the supporting mechanism and is connected to it. The top board is optionally a ring with a hole in the middle. When the invention is used, the supporting mechanism under the top board is vertically unfolded, and is locked by the caging device, and a scrap bag is sleeved onto the top board. After use, the scrap bag is taken off. The supporting mechanism is folded. The present invention is easy to carry and reuse.

Abstract: A modular portable cabana-type restroom includes a roof, base platform, foot portions, side wall panels, a back wall panel, four corner portions and a door. The side wall panels and back wall panel are provided with vertically-disposed hooks for interlocking with complementary slots along the edges of the corner portions. The roof is provided with clips for engaging the corner portions. This permits convenient interlocking removable assembly of the wall panels, corner portions and roof without the use of mechanical fasteners, such as rivets, screws or nuts and bolts. Recesses in the foot portions accept the insertion of the corner portions and corners of the base portion, which are then secured together through formed apertures using a minimum number of mechanical fasteners. This provides for easy assembly and disassembly of the restroom for transport, repair and storage.

Abstract: Devices and methods are disclosed which relate to lifting a user from a seated position to a raised position. This is performed by incorporating a lifting mechanism into a seat coupled to a movable base portion. Actuators coupled to drive shafts enable a plurality of linkages to be raised and tilted, enabling the seat to rise at the push of a button or other triggering mechanism. A plurality of compressible springs enables an even balance between the weight of the human and the pressure of the lifting mechanism underneath the seat. As the lifting portion lifts the seat, an angle of the seat changes from a substantially horizontal position to a relatively angled position, mimicking the natural motion of the hips and thighs for humans needing assistance. Embodiments disclosed include using the device as a bedside toilet, having a removable bowl attached to the seat, or using the device placed over a toilet.
