Abstract: A writing implement, such as an ink pen, comprising an elongate, generally cylindrical housing. The housing defines an interior area and comprises a substantially translucent material, permitting the interior area to be viewed from the exterior of the implement. A second end of the housing and the interior are closed, such as by a cap. A tip extends from a first end of the housing. The writing implement includes at least one writing material configured to be dispensed from the tip. The writing implement includes a plurality of ornamental elements substantially filling the interior area. In one embodiment, the ornamental elements have a maximum dimension in the range of about 0.03125-0.125 inches. The ornamental elements may comprises balls. In one embodiment, the ornamental elements are colored and are arranged in the interior space to define a pattern.

  • Patent number: 6799918
Abstract: A writing implement is balanced in accordance with the requirements of a particular individual user by a weight selectively movable along the writing implement to locate the center of gravity of the writing implement at a selected position relative to a grip by which the writing implement is gripped by the user during the execution of writing movements of the writing implement. A clip member retains the writing implement, when not in use, on a support with a gripping force adjustable to accommodate the structural characteristics of the support. A protective cover member is placed over the writing point of the writing implement when not in use and, during use, is retained at the end of the writing implement opposite the writing point by a magnet. The weight is visible through a transparent portion of the writing implement for aesthetic purposes as well as for visually determining the position of the weight relative to the grip.

Abstract: An improvement in the structure of a multi-functional board eraser comprising a long bar body, a shallow trough installed on the top of the body for the embedding of a wiping cloth wrapped around a magnetic element. The two sides of the body have symmetrical set troughs installed, lower parts are installed inside the set troughs, and clipping parts are installed on the front and rear of the inner surface of the set troughs for the embedding of the white board markers inside the said set troughs. When the white board marker is needed, the front part of the white board marker can be pushed down to make the rear end rise to be taken out conveniently. The wiping cloth not only serves as a wipe out for the markers on the white board, but with the magnetic element wrapped inside, it can attach to the white board to prevent the board eraser from falling or missing.
