A grammar practice item is then generated based on the original sentence and the x top scoring distractor candidates. The grammar practice can then be provided.     Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for displaying a session view of a host-initiated videoconferencing session and a non-host participant-initiated breakout session view. The breakout session participants are a subset of the meeting participants. The non-host participant-initiated breakout session is initiated by one of the meeting participants who is not a session host. The host-initiated session view is displayed only to the meeting participants who are not breakout session participants. The non-host participant-initiated breakout session view is displayed to the breakout session participants.

Current chatbots also have a hard time understanding misspellings, slang, and context-specific language, e.g., like the language used by students. “Learning” new topics is very time-consuming for current chatbots. And it is difficult for administrators to participate in student conversations carried out in part by current chatbots. To address these technical problems, an inventive chatbot uses a natural language processor (e.g., a neural network) to receive, classify, and respond to queries on thousands of different topics. An inventive chatbot can also request real-time assistance from an administrator when faced with a difficult query and learn on-the-fly from the administrator's response.

    Abstract: A method and system for online proctoring of tests while preserving privacy of test-taker is disclosed. Proctoring data, which include video and audio data from at least one camera and a microphone monitoring the test-taker and the test environment, is chopped up into data fragments. Each fragment is altered to replace personally identifiable information, and the altered fragment is encrypted using a cryptographic key. The chronological order of fragments is also scrambled. Suspicious fragments are further compared with original, unaltered versions of the fragments to confirm suspicious behavior, and render a verdict. The test-taker is aware of, and explicitly consents to the processing of a fragment by a proctor. A secure, custom viewer for the fragments also allows the test-taker to control the number of times a proctoring data segment can be viewed.
