Abstract: The tool comprises a tool wheel (5) which is mounted on a holding arm (4) and has a tool-wheel parent body (6) having a machining body (7) arranged at the outer margin. In one embodiment variant, this machining body is designed as an abrasive body. A base body for accommodating the bearing arrangement is designed in one piece with the holding arm (4), which also has the supply lines (8) for the hydrodynamic bearing arrangement and the hydraulic drive. A tool-centering interface (11) permits the presetting of the tools outside the machine tool.
Abstract: A conditioner head for conditioning the polishing surface of a polishing pad. The conditioner head includes a drive element carried for rotation about a longitudinal axis and a disk backing element. The disk backing element carries an abrasive disk and holds the lower surface of the disk in engagement with the polishing pad. The conditioner head further includes a driven element coupling the disk backing element to the drive element to transmit torque and rotation therebetween. The driven element is longitudinally movable between retracted and extended positions. An annular diaphragm spans a gap between the drive element and the driven element and is coupled to the drive element and to the driven element to rotate therewith as a unit.

Abstract: The combined grinding machine for internal spline includes three grinding heads for processing a bore of internal spline parts. The machine clamps a workpiece and at the same time can finish grind during the bore and spline operation and boring one of its end faces. The machine has a grinding head for boring and grinding head for a side boring a spline installed in a main sliding plate which moves on a vertical shaft of the machine body. The machine has a rotary table installed in a removable working table driven by a motor unit. Both the working table and the grinding head for the spline end face are located in the machine body. The machine demonstrates high efficiency, high precision, and low equipment investment. The machine saves time for aligning and clamping procedures.
Abstract: A linkage controlled spring powered feed system for maintaining a virtually constant force against a linearly movable member such as the feed member of a honing machine or other device, the system including a lever member having one end which bears against the linearly movable member and an opposite end, the lever member being pivotally mounted at a location between the opposite ends thereof on the machine frame, a linkage assembly bearing against the opposite end of the lever member in a direction to apply force against the linearly movable feed member, the linkage assembly including a first expandable link member having a compression spring for exerting force against the lever member and a second link member for adjusting the position where the linkage assembly engages the lever member as the lever member moves about the pivotal support to change the effectiveness of the compression spring in applying force to the linearly movable member.
