Abstract: The present invention discloses a mobile terminal settings switching system. The mobile terminal settings switching system comprises a positioning module, a storage module and an execution module. The execution module is connected to the positioning module and the storage module respectively. The positioning module is used for acquiring the current geographic location information of the mobile terminals. The storage module stores a first record which corresponds to each geographic location information and comprises a set of setting parameters; according to the geographic location information acquired by the positioning module, the execution module extracts the corresponding setting parameters which are stored in the storage module, and the corresponding parameters are applied to the mobile terminals.

  • Patent number: 9008607
Abstract: In a two-way radio frequency (RF) communications system having a plurality of subscriber units (SUs) and a supporting infrastructure including a wireless core network, a service request is received indicating one of a device, application, and transport link that will be removed from service. One or more SUs out of the plurality of SUs are identified that will be impacted by the removal from service. A determination is then made of whether any one of the SUs is currently involved in an incident response. For each SU determined to be currently involved in an incident response, it is determined whether the respective incident response is of a non-interruptible incident response type. Responsive to determining that a SU is currently involved in a non-interruptible incident response, a notification is caused to appear at a network management console or a dispatch console, and the service request is at least temporarily suspended.

Abstract: An approach is provided for determining contextual information for at least one first device and at least one second device. Then, the coordination platform processes and/or facilitates a processing of the contextual information to determine one or more functions to deactivate the at least one first device. Subsequently, the coordination platform causes at least in part, an activation of the one or more functions at the at least one second device. Ultimately, the coordination platform causes, at least in part, a transfer of the one or more functions from the at least one first device to the at least one second device. Finally, the coordination platform causes, at least in part, a deactivation of the one or more functions at the at least one first device.

  • Publication number: 20150099507
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are presented for providing unlimited access to either or both of media content, such as music, and applications. A media server environment can be provided, which maintains an instance of each subscriber account, a central archive of media content, and an application catalog. Selected media content can be downloaded to, and stored locally at, a subscriber device, such as on a secure storage device. Also, selected applications can be locally installed on the subscriber device. Access to the local media content and locally installed applications can be controlled through the media server environment based on the status of the subscriber's account. If the subscriber's account becomes inactive, access to the downloaded media content and installed applications can be disabled. Once the subscriber's account is reactivated, access to the downloaded media content and applications can be restored.

Abstract: An exemplary mobile phone is for determining a using state of each of other mobile phones communicatively connected with the mobile phone. The mobile phone includes a first communicating unit, a power switch, a using state determining unit, a second communicating unit, and a control unit. The using state determining unit determines the using state of the mobile phone by monitoring the first communicating unit and the power switch. The control unit controls the second communicating unit to transmit a contact ID and the using state of the mobile phone to a mobile switching center (MSC) via a base station (BS). Each one of the other mobile phones obtains the using state of the mobile phone from the MSC by transmitting the contact ID of the mobile phone via the BS, and updates the using state of the contact ID in the address list with the obtained using state.
