Abstract: A infant positioning kit assembly for positioning an infant in a supine position while in a crib includes a mattress cover that has a top wall, a bottom wall and a perimeter wall that is attached to and extends between the top and bottom walls. The bottom wall has a mattress aperture extending therethrough for inserting a mattress into the mattress cover. An elastic band is attached to and is coextensive with a perimeter edge of the aperture and a first mating member is attached to the top wall. An attachment member is configured to be worn by an infant and a second mating member is attached to the attachment member. The second mating member is releasably attachable to the first mating member to retain an infant in a selected position on the mattress cover. The first and second mating members comprise hook and loop couplers.

Abstract: An adjustable mattress that incorporates a movement mechanism and support member inside of the foam mattress includes a fabric covering with a fastener member. The fastener member is used to keep a fitted sheet in place over the adjustable mattress when the mattress is adjusted to an inclined configuration. The fastener member is attached to the fabric covering near the lower edge of the adjustable mattress and is adapted to fasten to a corresponding fastener on the fitted sheet. The fastener member can be a toggle that fits through a loop on the fitted sheet. The fitted sheet also has an elastic band that draws the fitted sheet taut around the adjustable mattress. The lower portion of the fabric covering is made of stretchable fabric that stretches between the lower edge of the adjustable mattress and a balancing bar that supports the adjustable mattress when the adjustable mattress is inclined.

Abstract: The disclosure sets forth and describes a bedding apparatus that is adapted for use in combination with a mattress; the disclosure also sets forth and describes a method of providing a bedding apparatus adapted for use in combination with a mattress. The apparatus includes a fitted sheet with a blanket attached to the fitted sheet. The blanket bears zipper teeth configured to mate with and removably connect the blanket to the fitted sheet.

Abstract: A baby swaddle apparatus can comprise generally a torso portion, a blanket portion, and a pouch portion. The torso portion having a plurality of panels and containing a torso waist opening and neck opening to receive a baby inside of the torso portion. The front panel of the torso also comprising at least one fastener. The blanket portion coupled to the torso rear panel comprising of a blanket panel containing an exterior and interior side and at least one fastener. The pouch portion can contain a pouch opening which receives the baby's legs. The pouch comprising of a pouch front and rear panel and a pouch front panel which contains a plurality of fasteners which allow the pouch to be modified in a way to allow for at least one leg opening.

The bar extends along the first length edge of the topping mattress and is mounted to said first length edge. The second length edge of the topping mattress extends along the second length side of the base mattress.

Abstract: A feeding pillow is constructed of a pillow body that is generally defined by a medial region and two opposing arms. The medial region is configured to be placed near or adjacent a user's stomach, with the arms generally near or adjacent the user's sides. The pillow body has a top surface that is adapted to hold a baby and a bottom surface that is adapted to be placed on the user's lap. The pillow body further includes a fabric cover and a fill material disposed within the fabric cover. Also, a support member is removably positioned at or above one of surfaces such that one surface is more firm than the other surface.

Abstract: The comfort quilt and a pillowcase combination has features that permit easy and efficient cleaning thereof. The quilt incorporates a housing or cover member that encapsulates an insert therein. The insert includes plastic sheathing that is stuffed with a soft insulating material. When the quilt is soiled, the insert is easily removed from the cover member so that the cover member can be cleaned (wash and dried). An electronic device (battery operated) is attached to the insert for emitting spiritual music or prayers for comfort. The pillowcase includes a facing member attached thereto. The facing member can be easily removed from the pillowcase.

Abstract: A combination pillow, blanket, and stuffed toy comprising a blanket with a pocket attached thereto, such that the blanket may be folded and the pocket may be turned inside out. The folded blanket is then located inside the pocket, forming a pillow. The pillow may then be converted into a stuffed toy by attaching a strap connected to one side of the pillow to the other side of the pillow, causing the pillow to fold downward and form a stuffed toy body.

At least a portion of an outer periphery of the second panel is secured to at least a corresponding portion of an outer periphery of the first panel to form a cavity therebetween. A flap extends from a portion of the outer periphery of one of the first and second panels toward the cavity. First and second lateral edges of the flap are secured to a portion of the outer periphery of at least one of the first and second panels. At least one fastener is located proximate to the free edge of the flap. The fastener biases or holds the flap toward the interior surface of one of the first and second panels to at least partially surround and secure one of a pillow and a cushion within the cavity.

Abstract: The blanket is designed to adjust in dimension and performance, permitting a user to use the blanket in a multitude of situations. The body of the blanket has a head opening and a series of complementary zippers attached to the blanket. Complementary zipper halves are attached to the left and right edges of the blanket body, permitting the right and left edges of the blanket to be attached together or for other blankets of the invention to be attached, forming a larger blanket. Another complementary zipper set includes zipper halves attached to the bottom edge of the blanket and about one third up the blanket to allow shortening of the blanket length. A plurality of foot pockets are placed on the lower portion of the blanket. The blanket may also be folded up into a bag and carried using a strap.

The quilt is collapsible into a folded state, wherein a transportable structure is provided that is of reduced surface area, while the retained articles are secured within the interior of the blanket. The size of the quilt is suited for fitment into a standard sized baby crib, while the straps and pouch provide a means to secure various items while traveling with a baby outside of the home.

Abstract: Disclosed is an infant blanket wrap that is specially tailored for use in an infant carrier or car seat having a crotch strap. The present invention comprises an article of material with two flaps, a bifurcated leg portion that forms a pouch for each leg and a securing means for the upper terminal end of the leg portion. The bifurcated leg portion allows a parent to place a swaddled baby in an infant carrier without removing the blanket and disturbing the child. The device also includes a securing means for the bifurcated leg portion. This allows the leg portion to fold down for ease of entry into the blanket and creates an extended tube portion that covers the infant's torso, keeping the child completely covered.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for holding a pillow on an upwardly extending end of a mattress having a single sheet of material having a upper end and a lower end along with a first side and a second side having an upper surface and a lower surface. The lower end is folded back upon itself to form an enclosure so that the upper surfaces of the folded section are adjacent to each other having a pillow disposed in the enclosure. The upper end is wrapped around the upwardly extended end of the mattress, using straps to hold the upper end in place.

Abstract: A baby change mat has a rectangular base mat, and pockets attached to a side of the base mat. The base mat has a non-slip fastening belt for fastening the base mat to a change table. The base mat provides a first work surface for changing a baby. The pocket provides storage space for storing items needed for changing the baby. A cover is detachably attached to the base mat for providing a second work surface. A flap is detachably attached to a side of the rectangular base mat. The flap can be folded on top of the base mat or the cover for providing a third work surface. The baby change mat can be rolled up and held in the rolled up configuration with an elastic closure loop. A carrying handle facilitates attaching the rolled up baby change mat to a support such as a baby stroller.

Abstract: Disclosed is a bed sheet and blanket system and method including a fitted foundation and a selectively detachable connecting sheet or blanket. Embodiments of the invention include a second connecting sheet or blanket disposed above or on top of the first connecting sheet or blanket. The fitted foundation, the first connecting sheet or blanket, and the second connecting sheet or blanket may be connected through interconnecting components such as zippers.

Abstract: A changing table cover is made from a material that forms a pocket, closed around a portion of its periphery and open around enough of the remaining periphery to accept one of any typical target changing tables. Part of the open peripheral edges optionally have disengageable fasteners. When the changing table cover is placed over a changing table, the inside surfaces of the pocket contacts the changing table while one of the outside surfaces contacts the child. When removed from the changing table, the inside surface remains contained and does not contact the outside surfaces, thereby reducing contamination from any undesirable material that was transmitted to the inside surfaces from the changing table. Preferably, the changing table cover folds into a pouch for ease of transportation.

A top fabric layer is generally co-extensive with, and fastened to, the bottom fabric layer and defines a pocket therebetween. A sleeping garment integrated into the top fabric layer has a pair of garment halves removably coupleable to each other via a zipper that zips up into a fastener pocket that covers the zipper when the garment is fully closed. A flap can extend from one half of the garment, over the fastener pocket and fasten to the opposite half of the garment to inhibit the user from unzipping and removing the garment. The garment can hold a lower portion of the user within said pocket, allowing the user to remain warm without the use of a separate blanket, while being able to sit or stand on the mattress.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a fabric arrangement and pillow designed to prevent skin lines and wrinkle formation while improving sleep using combinations of fabrics, cooling technologies and scents. The present invention is designed with a specific fabric and materials combination that create a surface in which the shear stresses causing skin lines and wrinkles are eliminated. Multiple layers make up the fabric arrangement include a top layer comprising a stretchable material and a second layer comprising a low friction material relative to the first layer. Supporting the first two layer is a support layer such as foam. Lower layers may comprise a cooling material, an antimicrobial or anti-allergenic material and a scent layer.

Abstract: Described is a mattress or box spring covering that includes a device that can be used to store bedside items. The device is a vessel or pocket that is attached to the sheet or blanket that cover the sleeping mattress. The pocket is positioned on the sheet so that it is within easy reach of a person in the bed. Mattress or box spring covering further includes a means and method for securing an air hose for breathing equipment used by people suffering from sleep apnea. The blanket has a generally rectangular configuration and a length and a width. The carrying pouch is adapted to receive the blanket and pillow when the pillow is folded over and the blanket side edges are folded over the pillow.

Abstract: An article of bedding comprising a bottom sheet (11) having side walls (12) thus to form a box sheet to be placed elastically over a mattress (10), and a top cover (14) having its edges attached to those of the bottom sheet (11) by means of a gusset (16). A sliding clasp fastener or the like (15) is provided to attach the edges of the bottom sheet and top cover together respectively when the article is not in use. A pillowcase (18) is permanently or removably attached to one end of the sheet and has an opening for insertion and removal of a pillow. The entire article, possibly excluding the pillow, is preferably of machine washable materials. An article made in this way ensures that the top cover which may contain a duvet, cannot slide off the bed inadvertently and therefore the occupant, most likely a child, is kept warm and safe from falling out of bed whilst having freedom of movement within the enclosure formed by the bottom sheet and top cover.

Abstract: The invention is a “blanket ball” or a baby blanket that can be made into the shape of a “soft” ball or other suitable shapes. The blanket is made from two layers of material that are connected together around their periphery. An opening in one of the layers defines a pouch that is normally received or stored between the two blanket layers. The pouch may be reversed and pulled through the opening to create a stuff sack for the remaining portions of the blanket. When the other blanket materials are stuffed into the pouch, it creates a ball shape.

The storage system may include a pillow that may span a length of a bed, along the head end of a mattress. The pillow may prevent people, such as children or infants, and items from falling between the head of the mattress and either the wall or headboard. The pillow may also provide an elevated surface to prop up a user's pillow for reading or watching television.

The compartment has a top and a bottom layer and is attached to the underside of the towel portion and has hidden pockets. Some of the hidden pockets have openings recessed from an outside edge of the compartment such that the opening is not exposed to the environment and is not visible to passersby, and one of the hidden pockets is accessible only through the opening.

Abstract: The present invention is a two-ply convertible pillow blanket device with an internal pocket. The device can be used as a traditional blanket. Alternatively, if the user desires to use the device as a pillow, he or she simply unfastens the internal pocket, folds down the blanket toward the internal pocket, inverts and refastens the internal pocket with the folded portion of the blanket inside thereby forming the pillow. When the opening of the internal pocket is refastened it forms a pillow which is nearly identical to a traditional pillow.

The portion of the sheet having the second pocket is wrapped around the person's legs with the person's feet in the second pocket, and the final portion is wrapped around the person's legs.

The blanket includes a padded area proximate the blanket member upper end. The blanket member defines a hole proximate the padded area configured to receive the head of the person therethrough. The blanket member includes an elongate configuration such that a torso, legs, and feet are covered when the person's head is in the hole. The blanket includes a foot pocket attached to the back side of the blanket member that defines an interior space with an open top for access thereto. The hole is offset from the padded area so that a user's head is supported thereby when a wearer is in a recumbent position.

Abstract: The formation of wrinkles in bed sheets used on mattresses of the type having elevated side bolsters and the tendency of the sheets to come off when the mattress is articulated are reduced through the use of a fitted sheet having conforming pockets receiving the side bolsters. Stabilization of the upper sheet surface by the pockets is augmented in some embodiments through use of a stitch line placed along a seam on the inside of the pockets and/or by un-pocketed spans of the upper surface of the sheet connecting directly to an elastically retained skirt.

Abstract: A bedsheet, a system, and a method for use thereof for elevating at least one leg or heel of the patient lying on a mattress is disclosed. The bedsheet has a plurality of overlapping longitudinally spaced pockets into which a pillow is insertable. The orientation and configuration of the pockets of the bedsheet allows for insertion of the pillow into the bedsheet at a desired location with minimal interruption to or movement of the patient, and holds the inserted pillow in a relatively fixed position relative to the bedsheet. The system includes the bedsheet and the pillow. The method includes placing the bedsheet on the mattress, inserting the pillow into one of the pockets of the bedsheet to create an elevated portion of the bedsheet, and positioning the leg or heel of the patient on top of the elevated portion of the bedsheet.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein include a shell that fits around the mattress of an adjustable bed. The shell may help cover unsightly pivot joints and motors that are part of the adjustable bed. The shell may help hold the mattress in place during the operation of the adjustable bed, or when a user exits or enters the bed. The shell may further help keep the shape of the mattress and prevent the mattress from sagging with time and use. Additionally, the systems and methods described herein include for providing additional features in the shell. Such features may help the user be more comfortable in the adjustable bed, and improve the user's quality of life. These features may be especially useful for patients confined an adjustable bed for prolonged periods of time, such as in a hospital or elderly home care.

Abstract: A bedding accessory for storing a plurality of articles in the space fully beneath a bed frame includes a sheet portion, a side portion appended to an edge of the sheet portion, and storage compartments formed on the side portion. The sheet portion is placed in substantially covering relation to an upper surface of a mattress support structure. The side portion is arranged to hang downwardly from the sheet portion adjacent the space beneath the bed frame. Each storage compartment is configured to retain at last one article therein and is comprised of an outer panel facing outwardly away from the bed frame and an inner panel facing inwardly toward the space beneath the bed frame. The inner and outer panels of each storage compartment jointly define an opening for receipt of an article, and the compartment substantially retains the article in the space fully beneath the bed frame.
