Abstract: A body, including a wedge-shaped sloped section, a level support section and a handle, for elevating a section of a mattress over a support surface upon which the mattress is lying. A distal end of the sloped section is small enough for the distal end to be directly inserted between the mattress and the support surface, while a proximal end of the sloped section has a height adequate to elevate the mattress high enough to aid in the changing of bedclothes.
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a flexible accessory panel with apertures from which items may be suspended. In particular, receptacles for fluids draining from a patient may be suspended from the apertures, which are retained at a level below that of the patient, maintaining a gravitational flow. Maintaining downward flow of the draining fluids limits the backflow of draining fluid to the patient and reduces the risk of infection.

Abstract: A guard-style device intended to prevent or hinder access to under bed storage areas is herein disclosed, comprising a series of interlocking panels providing an adjustable rectangular structure that is approximately the size of a bed. The device can be placed under a bed at its perimeter and is held in place to the bed frame by a plurality of connecting features. In such a position, the device reduces dust and dirt from accumulating under a bed, provides an element of increased security for objects that are stored under the bed, and prevents pets such as dogs, cats, and the like from running under the bed during storms or when seeking seclusion. The device also provides a unique visual element; however, it can easily be covered by a dust ruffle should its appearance not be desired.
Abstract: A mattress retainer for use with an adjustable bed having a rectilinear foot-region frame section with a planar upper surface substantially operates to “clip” this frame section, extending upwards at the foot of the adjustable bed to retain the mattress. Abstract: The bedsheet-tucking tool kit consists of at least one bed-mattress lifter and at least one bedsheet tucker. The lifter has a handle and an insertable portion, the distal end of which tapers in the direction away from the handle. A stopper provided between the handle and the tapered portion limits insertion of the lifter to a position in which the bedsheet can fall behind the inserted portion. At its bottom, the lifter has a flared wing-like portion that maintains stability of the lifter in the inserted position. In order to increase friction between the bottom of the lifter and the boxspring mattress, a small portion of the bottom surface of the lifter is coated with a thin rubber-like coating. This protects the lifter from popping out from the inserted position. The handle may be coated with a rubber film. The tucking tool is made in the form of a spade with a rounded knob-like handle and a flat tucker blade.
