Abstract: The invention relates to an elevator landing door assembly and a method for installing an elevator landing door. The landing door assembly comprises at least a landing door unit to be assembled to a landing door base opening having an upper edge, two side edges and a lower edge, which landing door unit comprises at least a top track and one or more door panels suspended by the top track through one or more supporting elements, and a door sill. The assembly comprises fixing elements in the landing door base opening equipped with receiving parts for fastening the landing door unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a parcel receptacle device that allows for securely receiving packages and transferring the packages to the interior side of a wall or door which the parcel receptacle device is attached. This device is comprised of a plurality of elements including an interior mounting plate, an exterior mounting plate, a housing and a drawer. The housing and drawer may be detached from an interior mounting plate that is affixed to the wall or door. This device also provides an auto-locking door that automatically closes when the housing and drawing are detached. Accordingly, the auto-locking door securely closes the opening in the garage door, which previously allowed the drawer to slide through. The receptacle can later be reattached by unlocking the auto-locking door and then raising it upward. Once it is raised up to a pre-determined position, the housing and drawer may then be reattached to the interior mounting plate.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a smart wall including a frame structure including a mounting cell, an electronic appliance disposed in the mounting cell, a first moving art wall positioned in front of the mounting cell and configured to move in a thickness direction, a second moving art wall positioned in front of the mounting cell and configured to move in a vertical direction, a horizontal driver configured to drive the first moving art wall, and a vertical driver configured to drive the second moving art wall. The smart wall may be equipped with multimedia devices, such as a display device and an audio devices, and household appliances, such as an air cleaner and a humidifier, on a wall, thereby minimizing the exposure of the home appliances.

Abstract: An exemplary door frame assembly that is useful in an elevator system includes a plurality of door frame members including a header, a sill and a plurality of jambs. The door frame members are configured to be secured into a desired position along a hoistway. At least one guide rail bracket is supported by at least one of the door frame members. The guide rail bracket is moveable relative to the door frame member between a handling position in which the guide rail bracket is generally parallel to at least one of the header or the sill and a deployed position in which the guide rail bracket is generally perpendicular to the at least one of the header or sill.

Abstract: The gate may be fixed within a doorway or into walls above stairs. The gate is constructed of two horizontal beams pivotally connected by vertical beams, joined by pivot pins. At one end, the horizontal beams are pivotally connected to a hinge so that they may pivot vertically relative to the hinge, which is connected to one side of a door frame and permits the gate to swing open and closed. When closed, the gate latches into saddles on the opposite side of the door frame. When open, the entire gate pivots vertically to incline in a direction of the stairs. When pivoting vertically, the vertical beams remain vertical and the horizontal beams incline.

Abstract: A lighting system for a drilling rig including a lighting frame attached to a crown of the drilling rig, wherein the lighting frame includes an adjustable frame portion attached to the crown of the drilling rig and a light bearing frame portion supported by the adjustable frame portion. Also provided is at least one light support post attached to the light bearing frame portion for holding a lighting fixture and at least one lighting fixture attached to each light support post.

Abstract: A roof anchoring safety device that may be retro fit to a roofing structure. The safety device is capable of being transitioned from an actuated state to a retracted state. When in a retracted state, the device is concealed. When in an actuated state, the device is capable of connecting to a safety tether. The device may be installed during initial build of roof an accessed in future for maintenance and or future additions therein. The device is concealed by a cap that is designed to prevent ingress of ambient matter.

Abstract: A closet door support mechanism that provides rotation and translation of a door used to close the entry to a room such as a closet is disclosed. An example of the mechanism includes a first track that is generally straight and is connected to a first track retraction section by a curved section. The track sections are mounted a distance from the floor, and allow movement of a closet door through translation and rotation to close the entry of the closet.

Abstract: Implementations of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for positioning and/or selectively repositioning one or more objects within an individual space. More specifically, a functional wall module can at least partially define the individual space. Furthermore, the functional wall module can include a single or multiple movable platforms that may support or secure one or more objects. As such, movement of the movable platform(s) may position and/or selectively reposition such objects within the individual space.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention provides a “floating” shelf assembly that is configured for mounting on attic rafters or exposed wall studs. In at least one embodiment, the shelf assembly comprises a shelf that includes rotatable mounts at a first edge, which are configured to mount to adjacent rafters at a desired height above the attic floor or insulation. The shelf further includes flexible members which are configured to hang the opposing, second edge of the shelf from an overhead mounting point. The ability to rotate the shelf relative to its mounted first edge allows easy leveling of the shelf by adjusting the hanging length of the flexible members suspending the second edge of the shelf. The shelf assembly also permits direct use with wall studs, where the rotatable mounts are attached to the wall studs and the flexible members are pulled taught, diagonally back and above the shelf.

Abstract: A headwall for a patient's room includes a panel having a vertically-extending front surface, an opening defined in the front surface of the headwall, and a door sized to be received in the opening. The door is vertically movable from a first position where an outer face of the door is flush with the front surface of the panel to a second position where the outer face extends parallel to the front surface and the door is positioned behind the front surface.

Abstract: A system is provided for concealing and accessing objects behind an interior surface of a room. The system includes an opening defined by the interior surface and a mount in which valuables are secured and positioned in a cavity behind the interior surface of the room. The system further includes a décor element positioned at the opening. The system further includes an actuator assembly positioned in the cavity and operatively coupled to the mount and décor element to move the décor element from the opening and to move the mount to the opening to access the valuables. A method is also provided for concealing and accessing objects behind an interior surface of a room.

Abstract: A stowable shelter assembly configured to be securely anchored to a support at two or more anchor or attachment points to provide a greater level of security and stability includes a first member having a bottom end, a top end, and sides extending between the top end and the bottom end. The bottom end is attachable to a support. A second member has a back end coupled with the top end of the first member, a front end, and sides extending between the back and front ends. The second member includes an anchoring member extending past the front end and is movable between a stowed position where the first and second members are co-planar such that the front end of the second member is positioned a distance above the bottom end of the first member, and a deployed position where the first and second members are angled and the anchoring member is positioned partially below the front end of the first member and spaced a distance from the bottom end to define a shelter space.

Abstract: Disclosed is a wall mount enclosure for mounting in a wall, including a housing with a front side, a back side and at least one side wall defining an interior accessible from an opening in the front side, where the front side has an outer perimeter extending outwardly beyond the side wall to interface with a front surface of the wall when a plurality of clamping mechanisms are engaged to mount the enclosure to the wall. The clamping mechanisms comprise a threaded fastener having a head accessible through the interior, and an at least partially threaded elongated member. A clamp body is provided and is pivotal about an axis by pivoting the threaded fastener in a first direction away from the interior of the enclosure and linearly translatable when in a second pivotal position to engage a back portion of the wall and mount the housing.

Abstract: A receiver embedded in and affixed to a foundation, the receiver is adapted to receive a turntable through an opening defined by the floor and walls of the receiver. The turntable is designed to rotate within the opening. The floor of the receiver has holes therein for bolts. The holes are located relative to center of the receiver and the foundation such that a turntable may be affixed to the bolts and rotate within the receiver and foundation. The receiver has a number of flanges both on the walls and on the floor to engage with the foundation. The foundation is created from two pour sections, a first pour for the floor of the foundation and a second pour for the walls of the foundation.

Abstract: A closet can fit into an attic and a cabinet (105) can be retracted out of the closet to the living space below manually, or using a return spring or electrical means. An air space (150) around the cabinet insulates it from thermal contact with the walls. A panel (110) with vent openings (155) is affixed to the bottom of the cabinet. In an alternative embodiment the cabinet is hung from a restraining member (145), or arm (1105), by which it can be raised for storage and lowered for access. When raised, the panel is in contact with the ceiling (110) between the attic and air from the living space mixes into the air space by convection. A fan (160) can urge circulation between the air space and the living space, reducing of temperature extremes in the air space and hence the cabinet.

The system includes a structural reinforcing panel which is installed between the studs in a wall of the structure. The panel is connected to the foundation of the structure and the sill or header. Two or more panels may be connected together at a corner, within a wall, ceiling or floor. The roof rafters of the structure may be attached to a top plate bracket mounted to the sill plate, which may also be connected to one or more structural reinforcing panels, provides uplift load support for the structure. Movable reinforcing panels may be used to barricade openings in the building structure such as windows. For structures built on piers, a pier mount bracket provides a linkage to one or more structural reinforcing panels.

Abstract: A device is disclosed that replaces an existing panel or door with a reconfigurable modular panel. The invented panel additionally may function as a working door or screen, serving to more optimally employ a room volume. The invented panel can be configured to fit various styles of door frames thus being adaptable to various entry or floor space pattern situations. The invented panel may be electrified allowing modular plug-ins to house a wide array of elements.

Abstract: An adjustable support assembly is provided that includes a front left base support, a front left lower elongated support and a front left upper elongated support. Also included are a front right base support, a front right lower elongated support, and a front right upper elongated support. Such supports are designed to be placed in a structural wall, particularly the structural wall of the cooling tower, wherein an opening would be cut in the wall to receive an entry door. The support assembly provides structural integrity from the lower section of the cooling tower to the upper section of the cooling tower, and allows the door opening to be cut out without loss of such structural integrity.

Abstract: The aisle containment system is mounted to two rows of equal width cabinets or cabinets varying in width between 600 mm, 700 mm and 800 mm. The aisle containment system includes door assemblies on both ends of the cabinet rows, vertical panels that mount to the cabinets and door frames to support the ceiling, cross tees that span the aisle, and ceiling panels. Additional cabinets of equal or varying width may be added to an aisle containment installation.

The sealing mechanism is moveable into the open position to vacate the gap and allow rotational movement of the platform and the partition about the vertical axis relative to the exterior wall of the housing.

The headwall comprises a wall unit mounted relative to a wall of the room and a floor unit extending along a floor of the room. The bed docks to the floor unit. It is disclosed to use the headwall to provide services to patient care equipment mounted to a side rail of the bed. Such patient care equipment is, for example, a chest drainage unit, an infusion unit, or a vacuum bandage unit located in a cavity of the side rail.

Abstract: A shower vanity for use with a wall having spaced apart framing members. The vanity includes a housing dimensioned to be recessed between two adjacent framing members in the wall and the housing is attached to the framing members by fasteners. The housing includes an open front forming a cavity dimensioned to contain bathing products. Two mirrored doors are slidably mounted to the housing which cover the housing front when closed and provide access to the bathing products when opened.
