Abstract: Additive repair of advanced photomasks with low temperature or optical curing via direct write lithographic printing with sharp tips and cantilevers. The optical properties of the materials formed from the ink can be tuned (e.g., n and k values). Sol gel inks, including silsesquioxane inks, can be used to form MoSi compositions. The repaired photomasks are resistant to washing under normal photomask washing conditions. AFM instrumentation can be used to perform the additive repair to provide the high resolution and registration.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a polymeric polyamine which can be produced by polymerizing polyoxyalkylene-amine and a linker. The linker can be anhydride, carboxylic acid, epoxy, isocyanate or poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride) copolymers (SMA). The present invention also discloses a method for stabilizing the Ag nanoparticles with polymeric polyamine. The polymeric polyamine serving as a stabilizer or dispersant is mixed with a water solution of silver salt and then a reducer is provided to reduce the silver ions and form an organic or a water solution of Ag nanoparticles. Water or solvent of this solution can be further removed through a heating, freezing or decompression process, and thus solid content of the solution can be increased. The concentrated solution also can be diluted to obtain a stable dispersion without aggregation.

Abstract: A method of producing a printable composition comprises mixing a quantity of particulate semiconductor material with a quantity of a binder. The semiconductor material is typically nanoparticulate silicon with a particle size in the range from 5 nanometres to 10 microns. The binder is a self-polymerising material comprising a natural oil, or a derivative or synthetic analogue thereof. Preferably the binder comprises a natural polymer formed by auto-polymerisation of a precursor consisting of a natural oil, or its derivatives including pure unsaturated fatty acids, mono- and di-glycerides, or methyl and ethyl esters of the corresponding fatty acids. The method may include applying the printable composition to a substrate, in single or multiple layers, and allowing the printable composition to cure to define the component or conductor on the substrate.
