  • Publication number: 20140196431
Abstract: A wire, strand, or cable guide element (EG) for a flyer bow for assembling/twisting/braiding the wire, strand, or cable has an inner surface (SI) which defines the travel path of the wire, strand, or cable (PF) and which consists of alternating adjacent micro-bumps (MB) and micro-recesses (MC). The flyer bow at least partially or entirely surrounds the wire, strand, or cable by means of a member (C) and has a longitudinal orifice or inner tube (O) in the mass of said member (C), said orifice or inner tube (O) extending along the entire length of the bow. The wire, strand, or cable guide element (EG) is accommodated within said orifice (O) so as to guide the longitudinal travel of the wire, strand, or cable.

  • Patent number: 7739862
Abstract: The invention relates to a thread clamping device for lower winding threads on spindles of a ring spinning frame or ring twisting frame. A clamping sleeve is provided between a clamping ring and a radially protruding flange on the spindle which can be axially displaced between a clamping position, which is defined by the position on the clamping ring, and an open position. The clamping sleeve is associated with an actuation device for the axial displacement thereof, which co-operates with radially extending means on the clamping sleeve. The clamping sleeves are associated with elements for fixing the position thereof at least in the clamping position. The aim of the invention is to introduce lower windings into the clamping gap and to improve the removal thereof from the clamping gap.

  • Patent number: 7353646
Abstract: A latch member for a creel assembly is disclosed. The latch is constructed of a generally flat plate, with upstanding side entrance and exit portions. A V-shaped slot is provided in the flat portion of the plate, and a mount is provided at an upper end of the latch to allow the latch to hang freely and rotate in a plane, and be mounted to a support member of a creel assembly. A stub shaft is mounted in the plane to an adjacent support for the creel arm so that when the creel is lowered, the latch member falls upon the stub shaft, which enters the V-shaped slot. When an empty bobbin is replaced in the creel, the weight of the bobbin causes the latch member to disengage from the V-shaped slot.

  • Patent number: 6978594
Abstract: A sawtooth wire to be laid in a groove of a shredding-element-carrier of a disintegrating roll of an open-end spinning apparatus is brought into a shape, which essentially represents that shape, which the sawtooth wire is to assume on the shredding-element carrier. The sawtooth wire is preshaped on a dummy body, the circumference of which predominately conforms to that of the shredding-element carrier, or the sawtooth wire is directly preshaped on the shredding-element carrier of the disintegrating roll. The preshaped sawtooth wire is subsequently hardened, preferably inductively with the aid of a high frequency alternating current with a frequency of more than 1000 kHz. In this manner, a disintegrating roll is made, the abrasion resistant shredding element of which, after the preshaping, i.e., after is securement on the shredding-element carrier, is a hardened shredding element.
