  • Patent number: 11209530
Abstract: 1st and 2nd pulsed waves (103, 104) with 1st and 2nd center frequencies are transmitted along 1st and 2nd transmit beams so that the 1st and 2nd pulsed waves overlap at least in an overlap region (Z) to produce nonlinear interaction scattering sources in said region. The scattered signal components from at least the nonlinear interaction scattering sources are picked up by a receiver (102) and processed to suppress other components than said nonlinear interaction scattered signal components, to provide nonlinear interaction measurement or image signals. At least a receive beam is scanned in an azimuth or combined azimuth and elevation direction to produce 2D or 3D images of said nonlinear interaction scattering sources.

Abstract: In an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment, processing circuitry obtains volume video data of a patient acquired by a transesophageal echocardiography probe. The processing circuitry sets, with the volume video data, a three-dimensional coordinate system that matches a display orientation of image data of the patient acquired by a body-surface ultrasound probe, on the basis of a positional relationship between the transesophageal echocardiography probe and the patient. The processing circuitry causes a display screen to display image data generated from the volume video data by using the set three-dimensional coordinate system. The processing circuitry receives, from an operator, a designation related to calculating movement information in a region of interest of the patient, the designation being received in an image displayed on the display screen.

  • Patent number: 11180138
Abstract: An autonomous driving system mounted on a vehicle determines a target path based on necessary information and performs vehicle travel control such that the vehicle follows the target path. A first coordinate system is a vehicle coordinate system at a first timing when the necessary information is acquired. A second coordinate system is a vehicle coordinate system at a second timing later than the first timing. The autonomous driving system calculates, based on the necessary information acquired at the first timing, a first target path defined in the first coordinate system. Then, the autonomous driving system corrects the first target path to a second target path defined in the second coordinate system by performing coordinate transformation from the first coordinate system to the second coordinate system. The autonomous driving system uses the second target path as the target path to perform the vehicle travel control.

  • Patent number: 10820889
Abstract: There is provided an acoustic wave image generating apparatus and method capable of obtaining an image with good visibility of a needle. In a case where ultrasound waves having an intensity distribution centered on a first direction are transmitted to a subject, ultrasound echoes return from the subject. Ultrasound echo data indicating the ultrasound echoes are phased and added along lines in virtual reception directions. As the ultrasound transducers transmitting ultrasound waves are updated, a plurality of first ultrasound images are obtained. Since the ultrasound images having various angles can be obtained, an image with good visibility of a needle can be obtained in a case where the needle is inserted into the subject.

  • Patent number: 10709427
Abstract: Systems and methods (the “utility”) presented herein provide for the assessment of acousto-electrical probes, such as their connections (e.g., transducer leads) and their response characteristics. For example, the utility may provide for readily evaluating transducer leads that have been broken and/or detached from transducers within an ultrasound probe. Due to the increasing complexity of ultrasound probes, identification of broken and/or detached transducer leads also becomes increasingly complex. Being able to identify such disconnected transducer leads may enable a person to repair, or “reterminate”, these transducer leads leading to a potentially substantial cost savings, the least of which being incurred by avoiding total replacement of an ultrasound probe.

  • Patent number: 10695027
Abstract: A multiple aperture ultrasound imaging system may be configured to store raw, un-beamformed echo data. Stored echo data may be retrieved and re-beamformed using modified parameters in order to enhance the image or to reveal information that was not visible or not discernible in an original image. Raw echo data may also be transmitted over a network and beamformed by a remote device that is not physically proximate to the probe performing imaging. Such systems may allow physicians or other practitioners to manipulate echo data as though they were imaging the patient directly, even without the patient being present. Many unique diagnostic opportunities are made possible by such systems and methods.

Abstract: Provided is a geometric model establishment method based on medical image data, including: a step of reading medical image data; a step of defining a tissue type by a conversion relationship between the medical image data and the tissue type; a step of deciding the number of tissue clusters; a step of defining a tissue density by a conversion relationship between the medical image data and the density; a step of establishing 3D encoding matrix with information about the tissue and the density; and a step of generating a geometric model. According to a conversion relationship between medical image data and a tissue type, the number of tissue clusters can be determined according to actual requirements, so that the tissue type, the element composition and the density are provided more accurately, and an established geometric model is better matched to the real situation reflected by the medical image data.
