The artificial insemination device for animals according to the present invention enables, by not disturbing or hyperstimulating the animal, the cannula to reach the uterus and be fixed in the correct position in order to suitably perform post-cervical insemination in young sows.

A portable bidet is configured to include a tank portion formed to be compression-deformable and restorable to its original shape, a nozzle that is connected to the tank portion and can discharge a fluid, and a sealing portion that is provided continuously to the nozzle. The tank portion and the nozzle are connected via a cylindrical portion having a cylindrical shape. In a sealed state where the fluid is sealed by the sealing portion, the fluid is fully filled in a storing chamber in a state where the tank portion is compressed, and in an opened state where sealing by the sealing portion is released, the tank portion is restored to its original shape, and a volume of the storing chamber is expanded as compared with a volume of the storing chamber in the sealed state.

Abstract: A device and kit are described for mixing and instillation of a two-part chemical system within a body cavity, under pressure. More particularly, a vaginal hygiene system is illustrated utilizing a two-part chemical system effective for achieving stasis of the vaginal flora, whereby bacterial vaginosis is effectively mitigated, thereby eliminating undesirable vaginal discharge and discomfort. Abstract: The present invention relates to a hand-held device that enables persons of limited mobility to clean their perineal areas, and comprises a liquid reservoir that can be squeezed with gentle pressure, a spraying portion that generates a directed stream of liquid droplets towards the patient, and a tissue holder portion through which the user can grab, use and dispose of cleaning tissue.

Abstract: A self contained, user powered, portable bidet apparatus to facilitate and provide cleansing action with versatility, comfort and convenience. An ergonomically designed vessel (20) with a discharge nozzle (22) and nozzle tip (24) attached and angled (FIG. 6A) so as to vigorously discharge a cleansing stream of fluid when the vessel (20) is filled with fluid, inverted, pivoted into position under the anus or genital area and user compressed with hand pressure. Easy to fill with a wide range of solutions, and solution temperatures, lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, unbreakable, and versatile the apparatus can incorporate detachable nozzle tips (26) allowing the user to customize water pressure and flow characteristics.

Abstract: A nozzle for a sanitary cleansing device, includes a coupling member defining an intake port, and a tubular body with an axially extending channel having an inlet communicated with the intake port, and an outlet opposite to the inlet. A plurality of angularly displaced elongated grooves are formed in an outer surrounding surface of the tubular body, and have proximate and distal ends proximate to the inlet and the outlet, respectively. A flow diverting member has a passage communicating the outlet and the proximate ends to enable fluid in the channel to be diverted to flow from the proximate ends towards the distal ends for cleansing the analrectal region. A plurality of ejecting holes are formed adjacent to the distal ends and communicated with the intake port so as to enable the fluid to spray out therefrom for cleansing the perianal region.

Abstract: A catheter or similar device, particularly a female transient urinary catheter (1), comprises a rigid polypropylene tube having a saw tooth formation (4) providing a flexible region which separates a handle portion (2) from an insertion portion (3). In the insertion portion are formed apertures (6, 9) in the distal tip of the catheter and in the side of the catheter (1) towards the distal end. The tip aperture (6) has a rolled over edge (7) and the side apertures (9) are formed in recesses (8) in the external profile of the catheter. A scaling portion (10) comprises a sinusoidal undulation in the catheter wall which effects an improved seal between the catheter and the wall of the urethra.

Abstract: A balloon for preparing for and easing human birth, which balloon is located at least partly inside the vagina of the pregnant woman during application, has in the inflated condition an application region (P) between its outer end (A), which is provided with a fitting (1) for a flexible tube, and its vaginal portion with the largest diameter (D); the balloon is conically shaped in its application region (P); the application region (P) is disposed approximately within the middle third of the balloon length between an outer portion (a) and an inner portion (i) of the balloon; the cone angle ? in the application region is 25° or smaller.

Abstract: A device for delivering a medicated product into a bodily cavity includes a barrel member having a dispensing end, a proximal end, which is positioned opposite the dispensing end, and a bore, which extends through the barrel member. The bore is sized and shaped so as to receive a medicated product therein and includes an opening formed in the dispensing end of the barrel member. The opening is sized and shaped so as to permit a medicated product received in the bore to be dispensed therethrough. The applicator is also provided with a plunger member movably extending through the bore of the barrel member for dispending a medicated product from the bore through the opening. The barrel member includes at least one substantially flexible section located between the dispending end and the proximal end such that the barrel member is bendable about the flexible section.

Abstract: A method of treating an abnormal biological condition involves the steps of introducing a metal oxide into the vaginal canal and repeating the step of introducing at regular intervals to treat an abnormal biological condition. The abnormal biological condition treated in accordance with the present invention may be symptomatic or asymptomatic. Treating may involve treating at least one of an abnormal fungal, bacterial, biofilm, viral, inflammatory or neoplastic biological condition.

Abstract: Devices and methods for personal hygiene. The devices of the present invention include a connector that can connect to an output of a shower head to deliver a flow of fluid through a fluid conduit to an applicator for delivery of a fluid flow and/or cleaning agent to a target area, such as the vagina. Optionally, a valve assembly and reservoir for medicant or a cleaning solution can be disposed adjacent the applicator.
