Gradient Or Slope Of Electrocardiographic Waves Patents (Class 607/26)
  • Patent number: 5271393
Abstract: An anti-tachyarrythmia pacing system is disclosed which utilizes an intra-cardiac electrode to obtain a gradient for each cardiac cycle. When the gradient increases beyond a predetermined value, it is determined that tachyarrythmia is imminent and the pacing system responds by pacing the heart in a therapeutic manner to prevent the onset of such tachyarrythmia.
