  • Patent number: 11221006
Abstract: Particular techniques involve a device for wetting multiple threads with a fluid, and a dosing pump which is connected to the wetting means by multiple conveying lines. The dosing pump has multiple conveying means for generating multiple dosing flows of the fluid and has multiple pump outlets, to which the delivery lines are connected. The conveying means are formed by at least one planetary gear set arranged between housing plates. To achieve, as far as possible, a uniform throughflow without a significant dead space volume, multiple planet gears of the planetary gear set are guided freely by a centering plate between adjacent housing plates. The planet gears of the planetary gear set have in each case one passage opening, which are connected by a channel system to a central pump inlet. It is thus possible to realize close fits and flushing of gaps.

Abstract: A washing machine includes an inner tub arranged in an outer tub and a rotatable wave wheel. As every 1 kg load is increased, the height difference h1 between the clothes and water satisfies the formula h1=(?D2h?4V1)/(K?D2), wherein D is the diameter of the inner tub, h is the height of the wave wheel, V1 is the volume of the wave wheel, and K is the optimal clothes load between the wave wheel and the inner tub within the wave wheel height. The clothes overturn periodically while rotating along with the wave wheel. The clothes move towards the center of the wave wheel along the wave wheel while moving upward, overturn outwards in a uniform wobble way after reaching the climax of the wave wheel and fall to the bottom of the inner tub along the inner tub wall, and move towards the center of the wave wheel again.

Abstract: A dishwashing machine constructed to allow quick and easy removal and replacement of the pump/motor used to pump liquid to the spray system. The pump/motor is mounted at a back comer area of the dishwasher cabinet on a track which angles to the center front area of the cabinet. Quick disconnect couplings allow the pump to be disconnected from the piping so that the pump/motor can be slid along the track and removed out the front of the cabinet. Each coupling includes a sealing sleeve located at a pipe joint and a clamp that can be tightened to seal the sleeve against the pipes. The couplings can be loosened by loosening nuts which release the clamps.

  • Patent number: 6233982
Abstract: A device as well as a method for the treatment of ready-to-wear, textile apparel parts, particularly for the pretreatment and/or dyeing are described, according to which the ready-to-wear, textile apparel parts to be treated are arranged in cylindrical or cylinder-like fabric carrier being arranged in a preferably closable vessel, where the parts are brought into contact with a treatment bath, whereby the fabric carrier is moved within the apparatus during the treatment. Hereby the ready-to-wear, textile apparel parts are arranged in the fabric carrier as a heap of ready-to-wear, textile apparel parts. During the treatment the vessel is filled with the bath only to such an extent and the treatment bath is pumped through the fabric carrier in that way that the ready-to-wear apparel parts are displaced and particularly intermingled by the treatment bath streaming through the fabric carrier.

The pump includes a mount having a pair of feet which are adapted to be secured to the base of the washing machine using a twist lock. The feet can be inserted into holes formed in the washing machine base and the pump twisted to lock the pump in place. The wash tub outlet hose and drain hose are then attached to the pump. The hoses attached to the pump secure the pump in the locked position preventing the pump from twisting to the unlocked position.

  • Patent number: 6116061
Abstract: A washing machine includes an outer tub, an inner tub, fluid nozzle configured to spray fluid into the inner tub, a fluid pump, and a controller. The washing machine may also include a pulsator located in the inner tub for applying a force to clothing in inner tub. During a first washing cycle, the controller causes the inner tub to rotate, and the nozzle to spray fluid onto clothing in the inner tub. During the first washing cycle, a fluid level in the outer tub may be controlled so that it is lower than the inner tub. During a second washing cycle, the inner tub is held stationary, and the pulsator applies a force to clothing in the inner tub, as occurs in conventional washing machines. Because the fluid level in the washing machine can be kept quite low during the first washing cycle, less water and less detergent is required. Also, because the level of the water is kept below the rotating inner tub during the first washing cycle, less force and thus less energy are required to rotate the inner tub.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for treating a load with dyeliquor includes a pump/motor set, a dyeliquor circulating system holding the load and directing all the dyeliquor pumped by the pump to flow through the load, a motor current measurement device to measure current consumed by the electric motor while driving the pump, and a throttle valve adjusted to create a flowrate of the dyeliquor through the dyeliquor circulating system based on the current measured by the motor current measurement device. The flowrate of the dyeliquor increases linearly in proportion with increases in the current consumed by said electric motor while driving said pump. The apparatus also has a low system resistance to fluid flow allowing variations in a load resistance of the load to fluid flow to produce corresponding variations in the current of the electric motor measurable by the motor current measurement device.

Abstract: Paper fiber suspended in black liquor is washed in a rotating drum divided into a plurality of adjacent sectors. The fiber is formed into a mat on the drum, and the drum is rotated so the sectors progress through a first wash and a second wash of progressively cleaner wash fluid. Each sector has two distinct drainage systems. One drainage system drains the first wash water after it has passed through the mat, and is then blocked while that sector passes through the second wash. The cleaner second wash fluid is thus kept separate from the more contaminated first wash fluid, and is recirculated to be used in subsequent cycles as first wash fluid.
