Combination Operable Only Patents (Class 70/115)
  • Patent number: 7613580
Abstract: A system that generates an electromagnetic interference (EMI) fingerprint for a computer system is presented. During operation, the system executes a load script on the computer system, wherein the load script includes a specified sequence of operations. Next, the system receives EMI signals generated by the computer system while executing the load script. The system then generates the EMI fingerprint from the received EMI signals.

  • Patent number: 7454283
Abstract: A method for approximating a stored pilot control map of a pressure control valve of a common-rail pump to the effective of pilot control map of the pressure control valve is presented. The stored pilot control map forms a desired pressure in the rail on a control current of the pressure control valve. The method includes the following method steps a) measurement of the pressure in the rail; b) determination of the control current of the pressure control valve; and c) adaptation of the stored pilot control map by a regression process that includes the pressure measured in step a) and control current measured in step b). In the course of a test run lasting 120 seconds (s) the control deviations (dp) of the desired pressure from the actual pressure in the pressure control valve could be substantially reduced.

  • Patent number: 4991416
Abstract: A lock for cabinets wherein a lock component is attached to one element of the cabinet and a counter-locking component is attached to another element. The lock component includes a hook-shaped latching bolt which is slidable and swivelable to become engaged with and disengaged from the counter-locking component. The latching bolt is held in a latching position by a locking bolt part of a permutation lock, and also by a retaining mechanism in the form of a heart-shaped endless cam slot which effects a release of the latching bolt only in response to a displacement of the latter in a door-closing direction.

  • Patent number: 4176533
Abstract: A multiple pushbutton permutation lock in which push pins equally retarded frictionally in their movement must be manually moved and held actuated in the right combination and pattern to permit a spring-urged slide bar to slide out of a rotationally located critically limiting slot on a hidden disk before manual actuation of the latch can be accomplished for opening the door of the safe.
