Abstract: A locking module for selectively coupling a first component and a second component of a lockable device includes a locking member rotatable about an axis between a rest position and an actuated position. An engagement member is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The engagement member is configured to cooperate with the locking member to selectively release the second component.
Abstract: A chain lock includes a top part pivotably connected to a bottom part. An engaging member is located in the bottom part. A lock cylinder, a rotary member and a rod are connected to each other. A torsion spring is biased between the lock cylinder and the rotary member. The torsion spring, the lock cylinder, the rotary member and the rod are located in a movable member to which a compression spring is mounted. Both of the movable member and the compression spring are received in the top part. A chain is secured in a first radial slot of the top part by the movable member, and the other end is inserted in the second radial slot of the bottom part. The chain lock is locked without using the key, and the key is required to unlock the chain lock.

Each link member includes a first end having a first pivot feature defining a first pivot axis and a second end having a second pivot feature defining a second pivot axis disposed at an angle with respect to the first pivot axis. The plurality of link members includes a first end link member, a second end link member, and a plurality of intermediate link members pivotably connected to adjacent ones of the plurality of link members at the first and second pivot features. The lock body is pivotably connected to the first pivot feature of the first end link member and includes a locking mechanism and a locking member configured to lockingly engage the second pivot feature of the second end link member when the locking mechanism is moved to a locked condition.
Abstract: A rekeyable lock cylinder and a padlock with a rekeyable lock cylinder are provided. The lock cylinder includes a cylindrical core formed to receive a key and an outer casing formed around the core. A keying opening is formed within the casing wall, the keying opening allowing access to pin openings formed within the core to receive selected pins. In one embodiment, the cylinder core may be provided with one or more reconfiguration channels. Pins and springs mounted in openings formed in a spring holder connected to the casing can be removed through the one or more reconfiguration channels when the reconfiguration channels in the core align with assembly openings in the casing and the pin openings in the spring holder, thereby allowing the adaptation of the number of pins mounted in the lock cylinder to the number of cuts provided in the key.
Abstract: A padlock for securing and monitoring a switch of an industrial plant has a lock housing of plastic, furthermore a hoop which is displaceably held at the lock housing and a lock cylinder which is arranged in the lock housing and can selectively be brought from an open position into a locked position to lock the hoop to the lock housing. An RFID transponder is arranged in the lock housing. A securing and monitoring system for a switch of an industrial plant includes at least one such padlock and a mobile RFID reading device or an RFID reading device permanently attached in the environment of the switch, said RFID reading device being configured to read out the RFID transponder of the padlock.
Abstract: An electronic lock box contains a secure compartment for storing keys to a structure. A sensing system allow the lock box to determine whether the contents of the lock box have been replaced as well as ensuring the correct key or object has been returned. The system reports the status of the object back to the central clearinghouse computer through an electronic key or secure memory device.
Abstract: The invention relates to a hoop lock having a lock body and a hoop which is movable relative to the lock body between an open position and a closed position. The lock body has a lock housing and a closing mechanism which is fastened in the lock housing and has a driver. The driver is selectively movable into an unlatched position or into a latched position. A latching device is furthermore provided in the lock body and acts between the driver of the locking mechanism, the hoop and the lock housing. The latching device latches the hoop to the lock housing when the hoop is in the closed position and the driver of the locking mechanism is in the latched position. At least a part of the latching device is movable together with the hoop between the open position and the closed position of the hoop.
Abstract: By providing a lock such as a padlock or deadbolt lock wherein the components forming two wafer or pin cylinder assemblies, interconnected so that one key and wafer cylinder locks and unlocks the shackle or deadbolt and the other key and wafer cylinder when key actuated blocks and unblocks access to the first key cylinder's key insertion hole therefore double locking the overall mechanism, resulting in increased security, creating multi-levels of security and various additional methods of security which is attained through standard key and cylinder key bit configurations.
Abstract: A lock assembly including a body and at least one locking member. An actuator mechanism within the body is moveable between locked and unlocked positions. The actuator mechanism may be actuated by either a key lock cylinder or an electronic actuator. The lock assembly may also include a memory configured to store user identification information.

Abstract: A lock core includes a lock core base, a button, a cover, a connecting member, a bayonet base, a bayonet and two compression springs. It can be applied in diverse locks, such as a transmission lock, a door lock or a safe deposit lock etc, able to achieve an excellent anti-theft effect because it is installed invisibly, locked by just pressing a button and opened without a key and with a remote controller.
Abstract: A lock includes a housing, a shackle, a controlling unit and a lock core. The shackle has a root section and a free section. The root section is disposed in the housing. The free section extends from the root section and is disposed outside the housing. The controlling unit is disposed in the housing and connected to the root section of the shackle. In particular, the controlling unit is capable of rotating about the root section and axially moving with the root section. Additionally, the lock core is disposed in the housing and is configured to control rotation of the controlling unit.
Abstract: By providing an automatically activated positive indicator or signal which is responsive to only the use of a master key, a padlock construction is achieved which is highly effective for providing notice to the user whenever the padlock has been opened by said master key. In accordance with the present invention, the positive indicator or signal is constructed for being automatically activated whenever the master key is employed, with said indicator or signal being locked in its activated position, and capable of being re-set by only the user.
Abstract: The invention relates to a padlock consisting of a lock casing body and a lock shackle, the ends of said shackle being received in recesses in the lock casing body. A first shackle end comprises a return gap for blocking the movement of the shackle in the locked state, and a second shackle end comprises a groove for defining the movement of the shackle in the opened state. Furthermore, an inwardly extending recess oriented parallel to the shackle ends and used to receive an entire standard locking cylinder, especially a standard half locking cylinder, is provided in the bottom region of the lock casing body, opposing the lock shackle.
