The locking member is preloaded towards the locked position to engage the notch to inhibit movement of the shackle from the secured position into the open position. One of the at least one passage and the at least one leg defines at least one recess. The other one of the at least one passage and the at least one leg defines at least one projection that extends into the at least one recess.

An addition shackle is provided for the purpose of re-closing the luggage after the luggage is inspected by an international airport security agent. If the luggage is inspected, the inspector simply cuts the zipper shackle and re-secures the luggage using the additional or third shackle. A disposable shackle system allows the customer to replace the cut shackle and return the lock to its original condition for reuse.

When a key is pressed against the door, the door moves away from the keyway, providing a key opening in the housing opening for insertion of the key into the keyway. At least one door biasing member engages the door and biases the edge of the door toward the keyway. The door is mounted on a pivot member disposed in the housing opening such that the pivot member and door pivot within the opening when the key is inserted into the keyway and turned in the lock. At least one pivot biasing member engages the pivot member to hold the edge of the door in alignment with the keyway when the keyway is in the key insertion position.

The distal end is selectively received in a mounting slot of the shell. The protruding segment selectively abuts the lock rod to keep the shackle from sliding. The resilient element is mounted in the shell and presses against the proximal end of the shackle. With the resilient element, the distal end of the shackle is maintained in the mounting slot without any external force. Therefore, the padlock may still hold an object in position without locking and then the user may take the object easily without using a key.

    Abstract: A locker structure which includes two hemispherical shells each correspondingly mounted to each other, each of the hemispherical shells having corresponding locking-core hole, latching hole, lock-hook hole and locking hole, and the lock-latching hole position is provided with a steel bead or lock-latching element, and the lock-latching hole position is a fixing end having a lock-hook, and the locking hole position allows the actuating end of the locking hook to be inserted and to lock the locker, or the two elements are disengaged to unlock the locker, and the exterior of the two hemispherical shells is mounted with a steel sleeve and the position of the top, bottom of the steel sleeve and the two hemispherical shells are disposed with a steel plate such that the steel sleeve and the structure of the steel plate cover the two hemispherical shells to form a locker.

The lock cylinder includes a rotatable plug for turning through a predetermined angle from a locked to an unlocked position with a key. A locking member or deadbolt, coupled to the plug, is arranged to move into a detent or groove in the cable or shackle free end to secure the free end in the housing. Rotating the plug to the unlocked position allows the cable of shackle free end to be removed from the housing.
