Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium includes instructions for commissioning a power meter that has a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication capability, the instructions, when executed by one or more processors of a mobile device, cause the mobile device to discover the presence of the power meter by recognizing a signal produced by the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication capability of the power meter and receive a unique identifier for the power meter. When the received unique identifier matches a unique identifier stored by the power meter, the mobile device will establish a communication link between the mobile device and the power meter using the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication capability of the power meter and will transmit one or more commissioning parameters to the power meter via the established communication link between the mobile device and the power meter.

Abstract: Multiple modules are installed, with each module installed in one of multiple outlets to be mapped. A probe is triggered to propagate a signal that provides circuit information at one of multiple circuit interrupts, where the signal is detectable by any of the modules connected by a single circuit to the one circuit interrupt from which the signal is propagated. The circuit information is retrieved from any of the modules that detected the signal as an indication that the modules from which the circuit information is retrieved are connected to the single circuit.

Abstract: A system for monitoring and reporting internal refrigeration unit temperatures includes a temperature measuring device for placement within the refrigeration unit. The temperature measuring device has a first temperature sensors situated in a liquid or solid mass (e.g. glycol or glass beads) for measuring an average temperature within the refrigeration unit and/or has a second temperature sensors exposed to ambient air within the refrigeration unit for measuring an instantaneous temperature within the refrigeration unit. A circuit periodically transmits the average temperature and/or the instantaneous temperature from the temperature measuring device to a server where the average temperature and the instantaneous temperature are analyzed to determine and/or predict a fault with the refrigeration unit. Upon determination and/or prediction of the fault, an alert is sent to at least one staff member indicating the refrigeration unit and fault.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to detecting theft of electrical energy. A method of detecting theft of electrical energy may include measuring, for each time sample of a number of time samples, a neutral current of an electrical energy metering system. The method may further include summing, for each time sample of the number of time samples, a number of measured phase current values of the electrical energy metering system to determine an imputed neutral current. Further, the method may include determining, for each time sample of the number of time samples, a squared difference between the measured neutral current and the imputed neutral current. Moreover, the method may include integrating, for each time sample of the number of time samples, the squared difference to determine an accumulator value. In addition, the method may include detecting, based on the accumulator value, theft of electrical energy from the electrical energy metering system.
