  • Patent number: 11698780
Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed to an edge-CaaS (eCaaS) framework for providing life-cycle management of containerized applications on the edge. According to an example, declarative intents are received indicative of a use case for which a cluster of a container orchestration platform is to be deployed within an edge site that is to be created based on infrastructure associated with a private network. A deployment template is created by performing intent translation on the declarative intents and based on a set of constraints. The deployment template identifies the container orchestration platform selected by the intent translation. The deployment template is then executed to deploy and configure the edge site, including provisioning and configuring the infrastructure, installing the container orchestration platform on the infrastructure, configuring the cluster within the container orchestration platform, and deploying a containerized application or portion thereof on the cluster.

  • Patent number: 11676202
Abstract: An integrated transaction platform facilitates a transaction, such as a purchase of a vehicle or other item. The platform provides a pre-negotiated purchase price for the item to facilitate a transaction to purchase the item from a seller, the transaction being substantially frictionless from the buyer's perspective. The pre-negotiation can involve a reverse auction process in which sellers bid to sell the item to a buyer. After the buyer has identified a particular item for purchase, sellers that have the item available are notified to provide a bid indicating a price at which the seller is willing to sell the item. The lowest bid is selected, and a purchase agreement is finalized based on the lowest bid. After the agreement is finalized, the buyer can accept delivery of the item without further negotiation with the seller, and thus with substantially reduced friction compared to traditional purchase scenarios.

  • Patent number: 11677823
Abstract: The inventive subject matter provides apparatus, systems, and methods of pre-loading (or caching) activatable content to several mobile devices for future use by at least one of the mobile devices. The mobile devices are communicatively coupled with each other to form a distribute storage network. The pre-loaded content can be used by applications executed in any one of the mobile devices within the network. A content server is configured to transmit portions of the content to the mobile devices upon detection that a subset of conditions within the multi-conditional content activation criteria has been satisfied. The content server is configured to transmit the entire content when all conditions within the multi-conditional content activation criteria has been satisfied. The content server then activates the content when a content activation event is detected.

  • Patent number: 11669809
Abstract: Intelligent vehicle repair estimating techniques include an image processing component that extracts image attributes from one or more images of a damaged vehicle, and utilizes the attributes to predict an initial set of parts that are globally-identified. Based on a jurisdiction associated with the damaged vehicle, the initial set of parts is transformed into a set of jurisdictionally-based repairs (e.g., parts, labor operations, time intervals, costs, etc.), which may be included in a draft vehicle repair estimate. An estimate refinement component iteratively modifies/refines the draft estimate using a machine-only loop nested within a larger human-machine loop, where system-generated modifications are incrementally incorporated into the draft within the smaller loop, and user-generated modifications are incrementally incorporated into the draft within the larger loop.

  • Patent number: 11663565
Abstract: In some examples, a system generates an identifier for association with a user financial account. The identifier may have a syntax including a currency indicator and a string including one or more characters concatenated together such that the currency indicator appears immediately before the string. The system generates a user-defined identifier and maps, in a database, the user-defined identifier to the user financial account. The system receives a message indicating an intent to transfer funds from a sending user to a receiving user. The message may include the user-defined identifier in lieu of account information of the user financial account, to identify the user as the receiving user. The system parses the message to identify the user-defined identifier and accesses the account information of the user financial account using the identifier. The system initiates a transfer of funds from the sending user account to the user financial account.
