  • Patent number: 11900384
Abstract: Computer system security and efficiency of processing operations may be improved using techniques that are described relating to analyzing user actions based on time of day of occurrence, and using time of a day as a factor in determining whether a particular action should be allowed or disallowed. Past action times can be transformed to a two-dimensional representation using a radial time schema that avoids discontinuity. A probability distribution can indicate a likelihood of whether a new action fits a previous pattern. If a new user action is relatively unlikely due to time of day, the new user action might be denied/prevented from completing, thus enhancing computer system security and avoiding unnecessary computational processing costs.

  • Patent number: 11729276
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a rapid online variable sourcing infrastructure for decision system. Specifically, endpoints may be injected into domain servers serving as a template for sourcing new data variables. When new variables are involved, a first endpoint is injected for registering variables exposed to the domain server, and a second endpoint may be injected to fetch data values at run time, e.g., during the actual decision computation. In this way, data pipeline latency can be avoided during the sourcing process, as the data variables can be sourced from domain servers at run time.

  • Patent number: 11727707
Abstract: Described herein is a system for automatically capturing images. A device may execute an application on the device. In response to receiving a request for capturing an image of a document, the application may control the operation of the camera to contemporaneously and continuously capture image frames of an area within the field of view of a camera of the device. The field of view may include an object and in turn may be included in the captured image frames. The application may determine whether the aspect ratio and real-world size of the object in the captured image frames corresponds with a specified threshold size and aspect ratio which corresponds with a given document type. In response to determining the object corresponds to the given document type, the camera may automatically extract an image of the object.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and devices for facilitating secure and private communications, via a website or application of a third-party computing system (TPCS), between a user device and a service provider computing system (SPCS). The communications may be conducted via a frame in a website served by the TPCS. The TPCS may serve a website that incorporates a customizable SDK component provided by the SPCS. The communications allow the user to, for example, open a new account. The SDK component may be initialized via a script from the SPCS, and authenticated via a session token obtained from the SPCS via the TPCS. The SDK component may provide user information, input into the frame, to the SPCS via API calls to the SPCS. The user does not navigate away from the website while securely engaging the SPCS. The third-party/partner need not develop its own user interface, security protocols, etc.

  • Patent number: 11695746
Abstract: Systems and techniques for multi-layer user authentication with live interaction are described herein. An authentication request may be received from a user for secure data stored in a computing system. Contextual data may be received that is associated with authentication information received from the user. It may be determined that the user has passed a first authentication process based on a match between the authentication information and reference authentication information stored in a user profile for the user. A risk score may be generated for the authentication request based on the contextual data and the authentication data. A second authentication process may be identified based on the risk score. A set of secondary authentication information may be received. Data associated with the authentication request may be transmitted upon authentication of the user via the second authentication process based on the set of secondary authentication data.

  • Patent number: 11687949
Abstract: An example of a method for detecting hacking activities includes identifying one or more attributes of each interaction in a sequence of interactions between one or more users and bank services during a predetermined time period. The one or more users are categorized into a plurality of groups based on the identified attributes. Each of the plurality of groups includes users performing the sequence of interactions with the bank services during the predetermined time period. A degree of anomaly is calculated for each of the plurality of groups based on a total number of users associated with a corresponding sequence of interactions and based on a number of users associated with the corresponding sequence of interactions during the predetermined time period. The calculated degree of anomaly is compared with a predetermined threshold. Hacking activity is identified, in response to determining that the calculated degree of anomaly exceeds the predetermined threshold.
