  • Patent number: 11657348
Abstract: A device includes a memory configured to store prioritization thresholds. The prioritization thresholds include one or both of threshold values and threshold ranges associated with an age and an amount of exceptions. A processor of the device receives exceptions associated with operation of at least a portion of the plurality of ATMs. For each exception of the plurality of exceptions, the processor determines, based on a comparison of an age property of the exception to an age threshold of the prioritization thresholds, an age score for the exception. The processor determines, based on a comparison of an amount property of the exception to an amount threshold of the prioritization thresholds, an amount score for the exception. Based on the age and amount scores, a prioritization score is determined for the exception which corresponds to a measure of an order in which action should be taken to resolve the exception.

  • Patent number: 11416851
Abstract: A terminal receives card details for a payment card to process payment for a transaction. The card and transaction details are sent to an intermediate server. The card details are identified as being associated with a card issuer associated with a first currency while the terminal is associated with a second different currency from the first currency. A currency conversion entity selection request is sent to the card issuer. The card issuer requests a consumer select a currency conversion entity for payment at the terminal. A mobile device of the consumer generates encoded data representing: a selected currency conversion entity, the card details, and the transaction details. The encoded data is processed to verify and process payment for the transaction with the selected currency conversion entity preventing any override by a merchant to use a different currency conversion entity at the terminal.

Abstract: A method performed by a processor of a financial institution computing system includes authorizing an account holder to execute transactions in an MBC from a financial account of the account holder that includes funds in a fiat currency. A transaction request is received, including a request to transfer a first amount of funds from the financial account to a recipient. The first amount is defined in MBC. The financial account is debited by a second amount, which is an amount of fiat currency equivalent to the first amount of MBC. A service call is transmitted to the MBC partner. The service call includes instructions to create a temporary account to hold the MBC, to exchange the second amount from fiat currency to MBC, to credit the temporary account with the funds exchanged to MBC, and to transfer the first amount in MBC from the temporary account to the recipient.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention include determining whether a first log message written by an application during a first job is a message of interest based on a context of the first log message and a probability that the application writes the message for a same job as the first job. Calculating in response to determining that the first log message is a message of interest and by the processor, a correlation score based on intersecting tokens between the first log message and a second log message. Determining the first log message correlates to the second log message based on comparing the score to a threshold score. Modifying a system log of a mainframe to link the first log message to the second log message based on the correlation.

  • Patent number: 11392928
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for enabling gift card recipients to redeem gift card amounts using existing payment accounts. A system identifies a giver and recipient of a gift card amount and associated accounts. A policy is established which governs how the gift card is redeemed, such as a specific merchant or item. When a purchase is made using an existing credit/debit card according to the policy, the system intercepts the purchase and causes the gift card amount to be applied from an account other than the recipient account. No special codes, separate physical gift cards, or printable coupons are necessary for redemption. The recipient makes purchases using their normal purchasing credit/debit card via a qualifying purchase according to the policy, and the gift card is applied automatically. The recipient credit/debit card becomes a combination of an open-looped card and a closed-loop card. Thus, no money is wasted or lost.

  • Patent number: 11354889
Abstract: A device may capture a plurality of preview frames of a document, and for each preview frame of the plurality of preview frames, process the preview frame to identify an object in the preview frame. Processing the preview frame may include converting the preview frame into a grayscale image, generating a blurred image based on the grayscale image, detecting a plurality of edges in the blurred image, defining at least one bounding rectangle based on the plurality of edges, and determining an outline of the object based on the at least one bounding rectangle. The device may determine whether a value of an image parameter, associated with the one or more preview frames, satisfies a threshold, and provide feedback to a user of the device, or automatically capture an image of the document, based on determining whether the value of the image parameter satisfies the threshold.

Online interaction data associated with the user is received, including tracking data indicative of online interactions with content. The online interaction data is stored in the stored interaction profile associated with the user. An activity model is used to predict correlation parameters representing groupings of online interactions of the online interaction data with activities performed by the user, where the prediction is based on the tracking data and each activity in the interaction profile. The interaction profile is updated with the groupings and user activities are authenticated based on the interaction profile.
