Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for identifying matches between disparate schemas calculates a degree of similarity between elements of two schemas using each of multiple matching processes. The calculated degrees of similarity are combined using a first weighting vector to produce first combined degrees of similarity. The first weighting vector includes multiple weighting coefficients and each weighting coefficient corresponds to one of the matching processes. The weighting coefficients are tuned using information relating to a predicted degree of matching accuracy associated with the first weighting vector.

Fingerprints of texts may be combined to define user fingerprints and user fingerprints may be combined to define community user fingerprints, which can be monitored. Changes in the interest of the online community may be monitored and automatically reported to advertisers who can then instantly adjust their advertising campaign. Similarly, changes in community interest may be reported to pharmaceutical companies monitoring drug side effects. The methods may be used in combination with keyword searching.

Abstract: There are provided methods and systems for efficient search in a peer-to-peer network topology. In various embodiments, search methods and systems provide for response times and network traffic that are independent from the number of query terms, thereby producing constant run-time searches and bandwidth hits in a P2P network search implementation. By distributing inverse indexes between peers, and storing with each inverse index a Bloom filter populated with selected keywords, multi-term search and analysis can be conducted on one network node without requiring exchange of posting lists between various network nodes.

Voice files may be received having associations with other data items, such as images or records. Abstract: The present invention provides for methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture directed to dynamically generating input to an analysis environment. Varying input data is linked with analysis routines by provision of a well defined but general purpose input structure for selected data, which is used as input to analysis routines. Metadata is used to describe the multiple analysis routines and their capabilities, and a framework both automatically formats the input data and customizes the analysis routine to accept the specific dynamic fields available in the input. Abstract: A web-based system scans content for specific terms, and transforms occurrences of the terms into hypertext links. Each hypertext link provides access to a dynamically generated web page which contains aggregated content related to the respective term. The results of the keyword search are aggregated into a single page or document, preferably with filtering to remove page elements not well suited for display on a mobile device. One method embodiment includes searching an index to locate a document identifier for a document in which a query term appears. The method includes determining whether the index entry includes an expansion identifier, and, if so, producing a logically expanded document. The logically expanded document may include both a document associated with the document identifier and a document associated with the expansion identifier. The method may then determine a relevance value of the logically expanded document with respect to the query and may provide a signal corresponding to the relevance value.

The method assesses a piece of information against a collection of the normal profiles and decides how anomalous it is. The normal profiles are calculated from historical data sources, and stored in a collection of mining models. Multiple anomaly detection systems generate a collection of mining models using multiple data sources. When a piece of information is newly observed, the method measures the degree of correlation between the observed information and the normal profiles.

A query enhancer component derives error messages from the input error messages using error pattern(s) representative of the input error message and error sub-pattern(s) of the error pattern(s).
