  • Patent number: 11935315
Abstract: In some implementations, a system may obtain document lineage training data associated with a plurality of historical documents and corresponding lineage data of independent historical documents of the plurality of historical documents. The system may train, based on the document lineage training data, a lineage analysis model to determine a lineage of edited sections of a source document. The system may receive a plurality of document files that correspond to a plurality of versions of a document. The system may determine, using a similarity analysis model, that a first section from a first version of the plurality of versions corresponds to a second section from a second version of the plurality of versions. The system may determine, using the lineage analysis model, a lineage of a corresponding section of the document that is associated with the first section and the second section.

  • Patent number: 11921758
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for linking multiple data entities. The method collects a snapshot of data from one or more data sources and converts it into a canonical representation of records expressing relationships between data elements in the records. The method next cleans the records to generate output data of entities by grouping chunks of records using a machine learning model. The method next ingests the output data of entities to generate a versioned data store of the entities and optimizes versioned data store for real-time data lookup. The method then receives a request for data pertaining to a real-world entity and presenting relevant data from the versioned data store of entities.

Abstract: Disclosed subject matter benchmarks and aligns content with target audiences. A user may provide content to a language intelligence platform. Scores are then generated by analyzing the content based on values-specific dictionaries, which reflect values of targeted audiences. Based on a comparison between a generated score and a benchmark values score for the target audience, appropriate action may be taken. Disclosed teachings support multiple layers of comparisons and score calculations including comparisons and scoring of all text, segments of text, and specific phrases to achieve a more comprehensive analysis. Embodiments may determine whether headers or other sections that may garner more attention, are aligned with a benchmark.

Abstract: An object hierarchy corresponds with a serialized file. The object hierarchy is generated from the serialized file by a generation tool. Non-root objects are attributed with an entity type, namespace, name, and link to their parent object. When an object changes, serialization layer code builds an XPath and produces a partial serialization for local and/or remote users while avoiding the overhead of re-serializing the entire changed hierarchy. The updated serialization may be granular or may include the entire hierarchy. Two users may authorize chronologically overlapping changes to different objects with neither user locking out the other user. Each user receives a respective corresponding updated serialization (granular or non-granular) of the object hierarchy without causing a full re-serialization overhead. A modified object is mapped to an XPath-compatible location in a serialization of the hierarchy.

Abstract: Semantic categorization of data includes submitting obtained data values to a data enhancement service which has a semantic criterion for incoming data. A response from the service indicates whether the submitted data values meet the criterion, and is used to assign a likelihood that the values belong to a semantic category matching the criterion. Other semantic categorization operations do not necessarily use a data enhancement service. Some are based on which device was used to collect the data values, on a subject heading in which data was published, and/or on syntactic patterns. A semantic taxonomy shows semantic categorizations for one or more datasets and connections between datasets, possibly filtered per user request. Different versions of the taxonomy are stored for respective different users. Similarity between the data values can be assessed using semantic categorization. Abstract: Methods and corresponding Machine-to-Machine Application Server (M2M-AS) and XML Data Management Server (XDMS) are provided for managing groups of M2M applications running on various devices. As groups of M2M applications are formed in a network, the group information comprising identities of the groups and identities of M2M applications belonging to each group is relayed to the M2M-AS. The later further sends such information to the XDMS server for storage. Requests for group membership related to M2M applications can then be handled. When a request for group membership related to an application is received at an M2M gateway or at the M2M-AS, the request is further sent to the XMDS server, which replies back to the requestor with identities of the group(s) that comprise the given M2M application, thus enabling, for example, the requestor to communicate not only with the application, but with entire groups comprising the application.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and systems for managing a database having a plurality of tables. The tables represent master data of a business application. In one example, a method includes receiving an input command from a user for maintaining a table of the plurality of tables. After receiving the command, an Extensible Markup Language (XML) file corresponding to the table is identified. Thereafter, a screen suitable for enabling the user to perform one or more functionalities corresponding to the input command is prepared. The screen is prepared by using a screen object corresponding to the XML file. Various examples of the functionalities can include, but are not limited to, View, Add, Update, and Delete. Subsequently, a query corresponding to the input command is executed for maintaining the table based on the functionalities.

Abstract: A hierarchal structure manipulation system may include a nested table generation module to generate nested tables representing hierarchal relationships of computing systems in a distributed computing environment. A hierarchal structure manipulation module may access at least one nested table to manipulate a hierarchal structure represented by the nested table. The hierarchal structure manipulation module may use a generic algebraic specification to manipulate the hierarchal structure represented by the nested table. The generic algebraic specification may provide a generic abstraction across a plurality of the computing systems in the distributed computing environment.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of transferring content from a file and a database. In this case, the file includes content instances, each content instance being associated with a respective field, and each field having a respective type. The transfer is achieved by determining the type of each field, and then storing each content instance in a store in accordance with the determined field type of the associated field. Each content instance can then be transferred to the database in accordance with the determined field type. A similar procedure is provided for creating XML files based on content within the database.

Abstract: A customer relationship management (CRM) application provides a user interface to detect language selection and create a default organization application using the selected language. The CRM application can enable a user to configure a subsequent organization application utilizing settings inherited from the default organization application. The CRM application can further enable the user to provide a second base language selection for the subsequent organization application installation and create the second organization application according to the language selection in hosted and/or on-premise environments.

Abstract: A normalization engine, system and method provide normalization of and access to data between heterogeneous data sources and heterogeneous computing devices. The engine includes connectors for heterogeneous data sources, and conduits for gathering a customized subset of data from the data sources, as required by a software application with which the conduit is compatible. Working together, the connector and conduit may gather large amounts of data from multiple data sources and prepare a subset of the data that includes only that data required by the application, which is particularly advantageous for mobile computing devices. Further, the conduit may process the subset data in various formats to provide normalized data in a single format, such as a JSON-formatted REST web service communication compatible with heterogeneous devices. As an intermediary, the normalization engine may further provide caching, authentication, discovery and targeted advertising to mobile computing and other computing devices.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for preserving event data for lazily-loaded macro components. Upon detecting an event published by a publisher, the logical channel of the detected event is identified. If one of the macro components to be lazily-loaded is a primary receiver for that logical channel (determined by performing a table-lookup of a data structure containing a listing of macro components and their associated logical channels for which they are to be the primary receivers), then the indication of the logical channel of the detected event along with the data of the published event are stored as a key/value pair in a data structure. Upon the macro component to be lazily-loaded having been loaded, the data of the published event associated with the logical channel for which the loaded macro component is a primary receiver is retrieved and transmitted to that logical channel.
