Abstract: A user collaboration system providing for the efficient utilization of an organization's resources, such as the bandwidth associated with call center activity. At the same time, the user collaboration system enables users to quickly and easily receive help in a particular subject matter area, without requiring the user to know who within the organization may be able to provide that assistance. The user collaboration system also maintains an organization's user profile information that tracks employee subject matter expertise and allows users to request assistance from an anonymous expert. The assistance may be provided via a collaboration session which may be optimized based on available network resources.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method and system for processing forms filled by a user. The system includes a scanner configured to scan a first form in a first language that includes one or more fillable fields filled with content; a content extractor configured to extract content from the scanned filled fields; a content processor configured to process the extracted content; and an embedding module configured to embed the processed content into a second form including one or more fields corresponding to the fillable fields of the first form.

Abstract: A mobile data analysis system is provided that enables mobile device location tracking, secure messaging, and real-time sharing of intelligence information, among other features. In one embodiment, a mobile data analysis system includes functionality for generating mobile reports. In this context, a mobile report represents information collected by a mobile device user and provided as input to a report form displayed by an associated mobile device. The collected information may, for example, include information relating to an activity or event, information relating to a particular person, entity, or location, or any combination thereof. A mobile report may be based on a report template. A report template defines one or more data fields and other property information to be included in a mobile report based on the report template.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing documents are described. A system comprises one or more modules to present controls that reflect a hierarchy of documents available for online delivery, receive an indication of selected controls, and manage online document delivery (ODD) using the indication. A system for presenting a single-page ODD sign-up, comprises one or more modules to identify a user of an online system, determine a financial account associated with the user, and present a hierarchical control, including the financial account, in the single page to the user. A system comprises one or more modules to receive, from a support representative, a user's preference associated with ODD; receive, from an online interface, an indication that the user accepts an agreement associated with ODD; and manage ODD using the indicia reflecting the user's preference after the indication that the user agreed to the agreement has been received. Abstract: A computer apparatus and method are provided for visually mapping fields of various electronic forms to a common object model. The forms may then be dynamically completed via a runtime engine that retrieves mapping data from a relational database and uses the mapping data to automatically populate corresponding fields of the forms without manual input by the user. Specifically, a visual mapping tool displays the objects of the common object model as well as the fields of a form to be mapped. A user drags and drops one or more of the displayed objects into a mapping area, and drags and drops a field to which the one or more objects are to be mapped. The user also identifies a type of association between the selected objects and the field. A mapping entry is then generated in a map file to map the selected objects to the field.

Abstract: The present invention is an interface system for interactively building rules and constraints. The interface system comprises of an output display configured to show a user a partial complete rule with a current rule fragment, such rule fragment comprising a blank space. The user can fill in the blank space by either choosing from a list or by typing in text in the blank space. After the blank space is filled, a completed rule is generated. The interface system then assigns this rule to one or more person in a resource scheduling system. The present invention can be used for agent scheduling in a call center environment.

Abstract: Embodiments presented herein provide methods, systems and computer program products for incentivizing users for providing user information. One method transmits data operative to cause a remote client application to render a structured form for input by a user. The structured form comprises one or more fields into which a user can input user attribute data. The method receives one or more user information objects including the user attribute data. The method accesses a data store of famous persons, comprising one or more famous person information objects each associated with a famous person, and including famous person attribute data. The method identifies one or more famous persons based on a matching of at least one of the user information objects and one or more famous person information objects. The method presents the identified famous persons and one or more aspects of associated famous person attribute data matching the user attribute data.

Abstract: A displayed document comprises an annotation widget, the widget associated with an annotation document and a corresponding annotation key in an annotation store. The annotation document associated with a workflow action program. A user with a predetermined privilege selects a widget and is presented with the annotation document. The user performs an annotation task modifying the annotation document and submits the annotation document to the annotation store, the submission triggering the workflow action program to progress the workflow to another step.

Abstract: A system for automatically completing fields in online forms, such as login forms and new user registration forms, which employs a Master Cookie File containing sets of records associated with the user, his or her accounts or web sites, and registered values associated with form tags (e.g. username, password, address, email, telephone, etc.). When the user encounters another form, the MCF is automatically searched for matching values and form tags, primarily from the same account or web site, or alternatively from other accounts or sites. A flowing pop-up menu is displayed nearby the form fields from which the user can select values to automatically complete the form. Automatic account information updating, value expiration management, mapping of favorite values, and sharing of values are optional, enhanced functions of the invention.

Abstract: A yearbook system is provided. The yearbook system provides a single, extensive resource to plan, create, educate about, sell, and distribute yearbooks. The system further provides an integrated yearbook system management and yearbook production system to enable the production of the yearbook to a printed output. A yearbook server hosts a client site and a client database. The client site is enables the school to plan, create, sell and distribute a yearbook. Further, they system may be used to create the yearbook online. A production server hosts a production database synchronizes with the yearbook server, providing images to the client for use in creating the yearbook, and accepting completed created pages submitted by the school from the yearbook server. The production server translates the created pages into the format to proceed through the regular preparation for production of the yearbook.

Abstract: An electronic writing solution server includes a classification application that comprises a classifier and a user interface engine. The classifier receives multimedia data on a form, identifies at least one field in the form to be modified and modifies the at least one field in the form based on the multimedia data. The user interface engine provides the modified form to a user.

Abstract: An autofill browser extension or smartphone app provides for the secure storage and autofill populating of webforms with personal user information. A popup menu of stored answers appears in front of or next to a form requesting a user to fill it out. The user selects the right answer to each question and simply drags and drops it, or picks and places it in the corresponding spot in the webform. If the answer needs to be a new one, the user clicks on the box for it in the webform, enters the answer. In alternative embodiments that answer can be automatically added to the menu. Autofill database maintenance is easy and intuitive. A template describing the construction and URL location of the webform is automatically registered with a server and that enables a community of users to share in quicker, easier, form fills.

Abstract: An electronic writing solution server includes a workflow dashboard application that comprises a dashboard generator. The dashboard generator receives a collection of forms, each form in the collection being of a same type and having been created from a dashboard template, the dashboard template including an association of fields, steps and indicators in each form, identifies which fields have been filled in by at least one user for each form, determines a current step of a multistep workflow based on the fields that have been filled out for each form and generates a dashboard for displaying a number of forms that correspond to each step.

Abstract: A method and system for generating and using inspection data is disclosed. Prior to an inspection, inspection data is generated which includes location and component attributes, observation codes, and relationships between the location and component attributes and observation codes. During an inspection, an inspector accesses the inspection data to generate a data entry form which reflects the attributes, observation codes, and the relationships chosen during the inspection data generation. The inspector uses the data entry form to generate an inspection record having a structure based on the predefined inspection data.

Abstract: A system and method for creating a table including multiple rows to accommodate redundant field information is described. A table creation module receives a completed form, generates field images, determines a set of unique field images, redundant fields and associated fields in the completed form, populates a first row of the table in a first column with a first unique field image, adds remaining field images from the set of unique field images to the first row, populates the first row with a first redundant field image and remaining field images from a first set of associated fields. The tables can be used to create an organized report.

Abstract: Indirect update functions, for updating a form, are generated by supplying update functions to a synthesizer, and generating an activation network, based on these update functions. The invocation sequence of the activation network is then determined, and used to update elements of a form. The generation of the invocation sequence by the synthesizer removes the need for complex hand encoding of form structures, and provides a means by which the functions may be generated as part of a server, client or middleware application.

The system allows a user to map method names and parameter names to more user-friendly display names. The system allows the user to bind the parameters to data of an application document. When the document is to be updated, the system sends a request for services specifying a method and input parameters as indicated by the binding. When a response is received, the system stores output parameters of the response in the document as indicating by the binding.

Abstract: A guided natural language interface, a method for guiding a user in specifying a color problem with a document image, and a set of templates for use in the interface and method are provided. The interface includes computer readable memory which stores a set of issue description templates, each template being configured for guiding a user in formulating a problem statement characterizing, in natural language, a problem related to color identified in an input document. A natural rendering engine receives information input by a user and/or information input from an associated problem detector, and instantiates one of the templates in response thereto. The natural language rendering engine is configured for presenting the problem statement to the user as it is refined and communicating information based on the refined problem statement to an associated problem corrector.

Abstract: Techniques are provided that allow users to collaborate in relationship to data views, application displays, applications or events. A user can type in a text view related to a specific view in an application display, and the information is shared with other users that take part in sharing that view. A user that expresses an interest in an event is notified about the event and has the capability to interact, in relation to the event, with other users (e.g. by text). The particular form of interaction (and sharing) can be selectively specified. This interaction is comparable to a dynamic bulletin board where the subject is event driven, and where a user can specify who are allowed to participate. In the case of an event interest(s), users specify their interest (e.g. in other user application events or system events) and the system automatically alerts them to the occurrence of the event.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of managing functions for objects associated with an interactive application presented on a display begins by providing a plurality of images that represent different selectable objects. Abstract: A method and a system for editing documents online, that in some implementations, simultaneously edits a webpage document, in a webpage file format, and an image document, in an image file format. The webpage document and the image document may have substantially similar visual content. In some implementations, an editing interface is displayed to a client device. The editing interface may have a first portion displaying one or more webpage editing forms for editing the webpage document and a second portion displaying the webpage document or image document being edited. The editing interface accepts editing data from the client device. Both the webpage document and an image document may be updated based on accepted editing data. The image document is updated in part by updating form data retrieved from a database. In some implementations, the updated webpage document is displayed on a webpage and access to the image document is provided from the webpage.

Abstract: An electronic inspection report system includes a central report generator and a data collection device. The central report generator is adapted to produce multiple types of inspection report template. The central report generator is adapted to select a type of inspection report template to provide to a data collection device based upon various criteria. The central report generator is adapted to receive electronic information from various databases and format the information such that the information can be used in inspection reports. While inspecting an item, an inspector uses a data collection device to access an inspection report template and fill in fields of the inspection report template. The data collection device can be configured to check the consistency of information carried in fields of the inspection report and signal the inspector when some of the information is inconsistent. The central report generator can include a repository of completed inspection reports.

Abstract: A system and method for paper-based, automated completion of forms allows a user charged with filling out multiple forms containing some common information to write each unique piece of information one time, and the system generates a set of completed forms with the required information on each form with no change to the use or structure of the current forms. The control module is operable on a processor to determine a mapping between common fields on multiple forms or multiple pages of the same form, copy information written in a field on one form to equivalent fields on other forms, and produce a set of completed forms. The system is computationally simple and independent of language because these operations can be performed without having to understand, translate or convert the writing. Furthermore, there is no loss of security or privacy beyond the use of paper forms because these operations can be performed without access to a centralized database and without connectivity to other systems.

Abstract: A system and method provides a natural language interface to world-wide web content. Either in advance or dynamically, webpage content is parsed using a parsing algorithm. A person using a telephone interface can provide speech information, which is converted to text and used to automatically fill in input fields on a webpage form. The form is then submitted to a database search and a response is generated. Information contained on the responsive webpage is extracted and converted to speech via a text-to-speech engine and communicated to the person.

Abstract: Systems and methods for collecting, classifying, transmitting and updating personal information for completion and submission or supplementation of electronic forms or databases on any type of mobile or other computing device are provided. Information relating to a user is obtained from one or more sources through electronic means, and the information is then organized and securely stored in a database using field mapping and other techniques to classify the information into specific categories. The information that is obtained and organized may include contact information, financial information, health information and historical information. The organized information may then be accessed by the user to automatically and instantaneously populate or supplement an electronic document, form or web-based application without requiring the user to manually enter the information. The system automatically detects and stores updates to information and builds a database of forms and electronic documents for future use.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect, the invention relates to a method for populating forms. The method includes: identifying a set of inputs to a form from past users; receiving, from a current user, a request to view the form; identifying temporal data associated with the current user; identifying an internet protocol (IP) address of a computing device of the current user; performing, based on the IP address and the temporal data, a statistical analysis on the set of inputs; determining, based on the statistical analysis, that a statistical threshold corresponding to a field on the form is exceeded; calculating, in response to determining that that the statistical threshold is exceeded, a default value for the field; and sending the default value to the computing device.

Abstract: A detector (11) of the present invention detects cessation of input to an input form by a user. A generator (12), when input is started again by the user after the user ceased input, acquires an input status of input to the form by the user that was outputted from a monitor that monitors the input status of the input of the information by the user, estimates a cause for input being ceased by the user based on the input status, and then, based on the estimated cause, generates a new input form for which input conditions have been relaxed.

Abstract: A system, device and method for providing interactive content on a computing device is provided. In an embodiment, a computing device in the form of a portable computing device is configured to execute a primary web browser application and a secondary web browser application. The primary web browser application is configured to generate a web-page including a fillable form on the portable computing device. The secondary web browser application is configured to receive the input for the fillable form by generating a mirrored fillable form, and to automatically populate the fillable form on the web-page using the completed version of the mirrored fillable form.

Abstract: The number of citations in scientific papers referencing an individual scientist plays a key role in their professional life and in scientific communities. Today's exponentially growing number of scientific publications makes it nearly impossible for authors to reflect all papers that may deserve citations. Often, authors learn about a paper they would have cited only after their work is published, and the situation cannot be corrected. We have invented a method which allows authors to appropriately reference the work of others by enabling the addition of citations to papers which have already been published. This method is implemented via the Internet system and contains one or more of the following elements: Post-Publication Citation List, Citations Under Discussion List, Non-Citators List, and a system enabling dialog between parties.
