Job tickets contain instructions for processing a PDL file. Scoped instructions control processing of only those PDL file sections within a certain scope as specified on a per instruction basis.

Abstract: A system and method for rendering a form based on an identification number. A client device including an extensible interface platform (EIP) application can be configured in association with a centralized server via a network. A form category can be selected and the identification number with respect to a form can be entered on a user interface associated with the client device. The form that matches the identification number can be collected from a database associated with the centralized server. The information required for retrieving instruction to populate the form can be entered in the user interface and the form can be rendered based on a user preference. Such an approach reduces the cost of rendering and shipping a large number of forms to a number of locations.

For example, a medical record form in a clinical or hospital environment is provided based on user input and is processed upon the user's filling in of the form. In some aspects, a user indicates by way of a user interface a type of patient complaint and selects a type of medical record form that is to be used in conjunction with examining the patient. The system guides the user and accepts the user's inputs and provides a suitable medical record form from a plurality of form types. The selected form is printed, and used by the medical staff in the examination of the patient. The filled form is then returned to a processing station for scanning, where information in the filled form may be extracted and where the filled form may be added to a patient medical record or archive, or shared with another person or organization.

Abstract: A handwritten paper-based input digital record management system and method to facilitate record management by directly accepting handwritten pen-based data input on ordinary paper forms. A user places a paper form on the digitizing surface of a digital computing device and then fill outs the form using handwritten input. A digital version of the handwritten form is simultaneously generated and presented on the screen of the computing device. Embodiments of the system and method also provide instantaneous form updating for any current data and reports any upcoming information that may be needed in the future. This mitigates the need for remote processing of the form. Moreover, embodiments of the system and method enforce completeness of the form and ensure that all necessary sections of the form are completed. Embodiments of the system and method also provide error correction by reconciling any invalidated data found during verification.

Abstract: A system that may be used to generate documents, where the system is accessible from and integratable with remote systems is provided. A document generation system that may be provided as a service, in the sense that the system may be accessed via, e.g., the Internet, from remote systems such as credit aggregators. The system takes in information regarding the requirements (e.g., type of transaction, number of parties, amount of loan, price, governing law, etc.) of the document needed (e.g., a loan application, construction contract, etc.) and produces an appropriate form based on the input information. Abstract: A method and apparatus for populating a form with data is described. In one embodiment of the invention, a form is displayed to the user via the target application. Each form has one or more data receptacles. The data receptacles of a form are filled with data when the user executes a data population command. The form completion program executes the data population command when a graphical representation of a particular data set is placed over the form. Each data set is stored in an encrypted manner and is accessible to users who enter the appropriate information into an authentication mechanism. To populate a form with data the form completion program obtains an image of the form and then searches for a template file that resembles the form image to within a certain threshold. The template files are typically stored on the computer hosting the target application in a template directory that is arranged according to a predefined structure.

Specifically, a visual mapping tool displays the objects of the common object model as well as the fields of a form to be mapped. A user drags and drops one or more of the displayed objects into a mapping area, and drags and drops a field to which the one or more objects are to be mapped. The user also identifies a type of association between the selected objects and the field. A mapping entry is then generated in a map file to map the selected objects to the field.

Original inputs can be received, each original input being defined as mapping to multiple characters in a language, each original input having one or more associated proximity measurements. Original inputs that have proximity measurements with one or more non-zero probabilities for respective intended inputs are identified as potentially incorrect original inputs. Each of the potentially incorrect original inputs is expanded to the respective intended inputs, and each of the original inputs and each of the respective intended inputs are converted to characters in the language, each of the conversions being a combination of the converted original inputs and/or the respective intended inputs. Likelihoods of conversions of the original inputs and the respective intended inputs to the characters based in part on the proximity measurements are determined, and most likely conversions are identified for presentation.

Based on the grammar, the input method may determine what text the user is trying to enter. The grammar may also be used to apply semantic categories to text input into a document. Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media are described for communicating an adverse event report directly to an end-user receiving party and tracking one or more adverse event reports. An adverse event may be detected manually or automatically by a system and an electronic adverse event reporting form presented to a user with one or more data fields pre-populated with data from a patient's electronic health record (EHR). The user may enter and edit data in the electronic form and may submit the data in the electronic form directly to an end-user receiving party such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. One or more receipts may be received from the receiving party and indicia from the receipts recorded to one or more records. The submitted adverse event reports may be tracked, accessed, and interacted with through a user interface and additional information may be provided to a user therein.
